    God Commands Righteous Violence

Think about this, readers. @Wrangler identifies Vlad the Impaler as a Christian hero and accuses Jesus of Nazareth of lying. He doesn’t mind @Armour of God lying about @Rockerduck or me. Are you listening to him?

    Crusades Began with Reconquista

That’s the same Paul who wrote, “We [followers of Jesus] do not use the weapons of the world.” Listen to Paul. It’s the government, not the followers of Jesus, who are authorized by God to bear the sword. I’m a pacifist and I’ve never said that.

    Crusades Began with Reconquista

Paul is writing about the government, not about the followers of Jesus. You’re morally bankrupt. You lied about @Rockerduck Post in thread 'God Commands Righteous Violence' God Commands Righteous Violence and you’re lying about me.

What church would that be? You aren’t Catholic - Vlad would have done terrible things to you and to your family - and you conceal the identity of your church. You don’t practice what you preach.

  10. Matthias

    God Commands Righteous Violence

What choice did Nero give them? Did they honor Nero?

    God Commands Righteous Violence

Now back to the 1st century and Nero. (The historical setting for Paul.) Did the Christians honor him?

As true as that is, the answer is the state. See Romans 13.
