What are your thoughts about the Stars in the Sky, and the Planets that exist inthe CreatedUniverse?

So this was littered with things that just are not true. But as stated before, I don’t care what y’all believe. It’s just not important to me just like it’s not important to almost anyone. It’s just a handful of y’all. The reason why you see less and less debates is because science accepting...

Any other Christians in here interested in evolution? I mean genuinely wants to understand it.

All you have to do is look at the work by scholars . 1. Genesis 1:1 is a introduction statement. 1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. It’s mentioned God is created the heaven and the earth. The earth is translated from the word “ erets “ which means the lands. Ancient...

What are your thoughts about the Stars in the Sky, and the Planets that exist inthe CreatedUniverse?

I see no reason to repeat everything I’ve done in the other places. The Bible says God knits us together in the womb. I think a sperm and a egg did it. Most likely after a couple had sex. the Bible says God makes it rain. I think that it rains because of a multitude of reasons we see discussed...

What are your thoughts about the Stars in the Sky, and the Planets that exist inthe CreatedUniverse?

Though you are not asking me I think that we are not here by any design to great purpose. We just happened to pop up and the creator reached out to us. I think he reached out to all animals. Just reaches out to them in a way they can understand. Not only is earth just one planet out of billions...

What are your thoughts about the Stars in the Sky, and the Planets that exist inthe CreatedUniverse?

I think the lesser light was most likely the moon. The various times it came up from Mesopotamian stuff I’ve read it seems many believed the same. That the moon as a nighttime light.

Is the Bible wrong about virgins? Deuteronomy 22:13-21

So it’s not irrelevant. The question is not how often it happens. the question is was the Bible correct in implying all virgins bleed the first time or is it wrong? I posed the question. Just because you can’t honestly respond to it does not mean you have the authority to change my question...

What are your thoughts about the Stars in the Sky, and the Planets that exist inthe CreatedUniverse?

To ancient cultures, the greater light was the sun and the less light was the moon. They did not know that the moon was reflecting light for a while. Back then they thought it had its own light. They recognized not all stars blinked, but they did not think there was other planets really. They...

What are your thoughts about the Stars in the Sky, and the Planets that exist inthe CreatedUniverse?

I really enjoy it. During summer when it’s daylight still at 9pm ( I go to bed around thre because I work at 4am ) I’ll spend the days hiking and foraging. But in winter when the nights get dark at 530pm, I’ll hike less and tend to do night sky watching. Though I need to dedicate more time to...

According to this study socially liberal leaning voters are smarter than conservative leaning voters

https://reason.com/2014/06/13/are-conservatives-dumber-than-liberals/?amp So this study indicates that those who lean liberal, including socially liberal republicans , score higher on tests and handling issues than conservative leaning voters and that includes the more socially conservative...

A professor at a Christian college helping young disciples understand why evolution is real and why it’s compatible with real Christianity. Navigating the perceived conflict between faith and evolution our great great grandkids may not even know what YECism is outside of it being something...

Any other Christians in here interested in evolution? I mean genuinely wants to understand it.

It’s simple. I made a post for those who are interested in evolution. I did not make a post to debate evolution. I mentioned if you want to debate evolution, there are other threads for it. It’s not complex. It’s not a soap box. So grow up. I just don’t want to waste time talking to those with...

A thread specifically for Christians who like horror. If you don’t, this thread is not meant for you

So hopefully those who read them post, realize this post is meant for Christian’s who enjoy horror to fellowship, but still decide to ignore that and post how evil or how much horror is will be minimal or nonexistent. But I don’t have much hope in that based off other threads. Instead of...

That’s such a dumb post. I’m not going to read past the few sentences I read. If you want to understand why I made the post, I already answered it several times. Read through like an adult.

Any other Christians in here interested in evolution? I mean genuinely wants to understand it.

so I base all of my religious and theological views off of the Bible as well. this is the difference. Some see genesis 1 as a historical story for of scientifically verifiable facts. So when they say they are basing it off of the Bible, what they mean is that they basing their worldview off of...

Any other Christians in here interested in evolution? I mean genuinely wants to understand it.

Well the Tohu wabohu ( the cosmic watery darkness ) is symbolic of chaos. Before the first day of creation the universe according to the Bible and ancient Jewish people was a place of dark deep water and darkness. When darkness was separated it’s not a reference to the sun. The darkness there is...

Is the Bible wrong about virgins? Deuteronomy 22:13-21

I side with the Bible as well. Just that it’s there to accommodate a hard hearted tribe. That’s why Christ rejected it and corrected it and said whoever has not sinned can cast the first stone. It was never Yahwehs desire to kill. That was mankind. by Bible I mean scripture. It’s a common term...

Any other Christians in here interested in evolution? I mean genuinely wants to understand it.

I think the days in genesis 1 refers to 24 hour days. They can’t refer to eons because it says birds were around before land animals but birds evolved after dinosaurs. The only way to really interpret genesis in a way that honors the Bible, science and reality is that it’s not meant to be read...

I lot of things we make are based off of the science involved in nature. It’s had millions of users to go through many processes and we often converge on it with technology.
