    Rich preachers

    Is there a well-known preacher that isn't a millionaire?

What are some of the reasons people don’t like going to church buildings or institutionalized churches?

It was a suggestion, not a commandment. Paul was encouraging them, not commanding them.

What are some of the reasons people don’t like going to church buildings or institutionalized churches?

John, there is no expectation or requirement to attend a church. Our only "work" is to believe in Jesus, according to Jesus. John 6:29 Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”

What are some of the reasons people don’t like going to church buildings or institutionalized churches?

There are probably some quality churches that avoid all of the dogma and focus on the basics that all Christians can agree upon, such as following Jesus through our choices and not just our words.

What are some of the reasons people don’t like going to church buildings or institutionalized churches?

Many churches are businesses posing as churches. I also dislike listening to preachers spewing false doctrines such as the one about Jesus running a forever torture chamber. There's no commandment to attend a church although Paul encouraged members of his fledgling churches to get together...

    Christ Died for All

You are spiritually blind to see and understand. You think God set up a forever "Auschwitz" where he senselessly tortures people FOREVER. Your theology is unbiblical and DEMONIC.

You should not be spreading heresies. Stop teaching; you are not qualified to do so.

    Pope Francis has died

If you're ever interested in discussing doctrine I am willing to do so with you privately. I encourage you to ignore the hypocrites here who claim to know what Jesus wants while telling you that you're doing it wrong. Jesus said the two most important things for us to do is to love God and to...

    Pope Francis has died

Everyone seems to have their own doctrinal differences and they are irrelevant to salvation. What's important is following the Great Commandment. May God bless you too my brother.

    Pope Francis has died

I'm not Catholic (anymore) but I'm confident that Jesus welcomed Francis into Heaven. Are you Catholic?

    Pope Francis has died

Nah. People need to be loving and good-hearted. I doubt that Jesus cares about anyone's "knowledge".

    Pope Francis has died

Neither of us know what was in Francis' heart or anyone else. Only Jesus can judge.

    Pope Francis has died

God wants us to look to him, not to his creation. Praying to Mary misses the mark. I understand it's called idolatry.

    Pope Francis has died

Only Jesus can judge. I believe that I can discern that many of the doctrines of the Catholic Church are NOT from God. However, I also believe that there were/are many Godly people in the Catholic Church who faithfully believe in and follow Jesus, albeit perhaps not perfectly. Only Jesus can...

    Pope Francis has died

A Cardinal from the Philippines is apparently the current favorite to become Pope. https://nypost.com/2025/04/21/world-news/who-will-be-next-pope-after-francis-vatican-conclave/
