1 Timothy 1:15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

1 Timothy 1:16 Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.

Paul persecuted the church of God, but Paul obtained mercy and became a pattern of our salvation.

Our pattern, our example of believing faith is to be found only in Paul's epistles.

We do not pattern how to be saved unto eternal life in this dispensation of grace from any other dispensation, or from any other books in the Bible other than the epistles of Paul.

There is no pattern on how to be saved. Is there a pattern on how ro find a wife or husband. Why reduce God to a set of static ideas?

Every person is unique. Paul show absolutely NO pattern...because it was God's mercy acting in a very particular way with paul and with all of us.

Did you also get struck of your horse?

Very few people will be forced into conversion like Paul...so he is the exception of a rule and not a pattern at all.

And I think God did it like that so that we DON'T reduce salvation to a formula.

But I know this thread is to promote the error of Dispensationalism. So it is only natural to try backing up one error with another. ;)

The old mind with it's certainty or the new heart with it's questions ....which one will we follow?

This is simply a lie; for all scripture is inspired of the Lord and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16).
