10. God worried that Adam would always be lost in the garden because men hate to ask for directions.
9. God knew that Adam would one day need someone to hand him the TV remote.
8. God knew that Adam would never buy a new fig leaf when his seat wore out and would therefore need Eve to get one for him.
7. God knew that Adam would never make a doctor's appointment for himself.
6. God knew that Adam would never remember which night was garbage night.
5. God knew that if the world was to be populated, men would never be able to handle childbearing.
4. As "Keeper of the Garden," Adam would never remember where he put his tools.
3. The scripture account of creation indicates Adam needed someone to blame his troubles on when God caught him hiding in the garden.
2. As the Bible says, "It is not good for man to be alone!"

1. When God finished the creation of Adam, He stepped back, scratched His head and said, "I can do better than that.

As Adam was wandering about in the garden he noticed the other animals pairing up. He asked God to create a mate for him as He had done for the rest of the animals. God spoke to Adam saying something to the effect that He would create a mate for Adam that would be his faithful helper in every respect; she would cook for him, clean for him, pay homage to him and please him in every way possible. Adam then ask God what would be required of him for God to do that for him. God said, "Adam, that is going to cost you an arm and a leg." Adam replied, "God, what could I get for a rib?" The rest is history.

Lovely, it made me chuckle. The last line was worth the wait. My husband opens a cupboard and asks where's the salt, pickles, butter etc when they are right in front of him. And if they aren't he won't move things aside until he finds what he's looking for. It must be a 'man thing' because both my sons-in-law are the same. Not sure about my son as nobody has told tales on him so far.

If it's not in the front of the fridge, obvious the wife has hidden it, and she must be consulted!

After Adam awoke, he looked around, puzzled. "I feel different!" He couldn't quite put his finger on it. "OH! I don't feel anything! Hm. I want to build something!"

Much love!
