The time frame of all unfulfilled visionary prophecy is still future. All fulfilled prophecy has been fulfilled through the end of the 69th week of the 70 weeks of years decreed for national Israel. A week of years is the Jewish “heptad”. Each year represents 360 literal prophetic days. This calculates to a 7 year period of time or 2,520 days. The 69 weeks of years represent a time period of 173,880 prophetic days or 483 years:

This time frame began at the decree to return and build the city Jerusalem from the Babylonian captivity [under Persian rule] in 445 B.C. 483 prophetic years lapsed in about 33 A.D. and the Lord was then cut off at His first coming. There is one “heptad” (one 7 year period) remaining for the completion of the decreed amount of total time of 490 years and this 7 year period is still future. [Daniel 9; 12]

It is significant that the nation of unbelieving Israel is existing as an independent political entity in the land of Israel today after many centuries of domination by the Gentiles and exile from their land. They are there to experience the coming 70th week decreed for the nation which is still pending.

Israel's continuous intransigence against the Lord's providence and direction has resulted in the loss of His personal guidance and direction. Israel is still in this condition at the present time. His long term preservation of Israel's national identity is specifically for His ultimate plans and purposes ..... not Israel's self-generated nationalism. [Jeremiah 30; Ezekiel 36; 37; 38; 39]

The years following the reign of Israel's prominent kings David and his son Solomon included political division of the nation and subsequent invasion and assimilation of ten of the tribes of Israel by the Assyrians. Successive dominance of the remainder of the nation followed by the three empires of neo-Babylon, Persia, and Grecia.

The neo-Babylonians conquered what was left of the remnant, took many captives, and relocated the population. It was under the rule of the next empire, Persia, that a remnant of Israel was allowed to return to the land of Israel [445 B.C.]. This began the count down of the 70 weeks of years [490 literal prophetic years]. 483 years have lapsed with one 7 year period yet to be experienced by Israel after their second return from the nations of the Gentiles to the land of Israel. [Daniel 9:24-27]

If the death of Jesus occurred around 33 A.D. then the following calculation can be made. The time lapse would be 444 calendar years to the first century from 445 B.C. plus 33 additional years to equal 477 years. The conversion factor for 360 day prophetic years can be calculated by dividing 365 by 360 which is 1.0138. Prophetic years are shorter so there are more of them included in the time frame of 477 calendar years.

There are 483.5826 [477 x 1.0138] prophetic years in the time frame. If one adjusts this result by leap year days, the final calculation is very close to 483 years [69 weeks of years]. Daniel's vision of the time frame allows for this amount of time to lapse after which the Messiah Prince would be cut off and have nothing.

The last segment of 7 years [1 week of years] is still yet future and requires Israel's return in part to the Land of Israel from the nations. This final 7 years will include future prophetic events leading up to the visible return of Israel's Messiah who is Jesus Christ.

The covenant of 70 weeks of years is described in the 9th chapter of Daniel. The Lord will confirm this covenant by executing the last 7 years including the 6 objectives that will be met for national Israel at the time of the end which is still pending. These objectives must be met for national Israel at that time since most of the nation has been and is in the state of unbelief. Some will turn and accept their Messiah and King, Jesus Christ.

This period will be exactly 2,520 prophetic days long and there will be another 30 days and 45 days added. The Lord will turn on satan's beast and his kingdom of followers and destroy it during the 30 day period ending with the battle of Armageddon. The Lord will then appear to the world and gather all of the mortal survivors of the tribulations of the 70th week and separate them for entrance into His kingdom during the next 45 days.

Satan and his fallen angelics are coming to the earth at the beginning of the 70th week and it will take the first 1,260 days for him to develop his kingdom in the Middle East including the invasion and occupation of Israel, Jerusalem, and the temple mount. He will also gain a large human following and these will worship him as a god. He will then rule over the Middle East for the next 1,260 days [42 months]. The Lord will then force him and his human followers to Armageddon and destroy his kingdom within the next 30 days.

There is nothing of earthly events recorded in the scope of visionary prophecy between the end of the 69th week and the beginning of the 70th. The end time frames of the O.T. visions of the prophets, the Lord’s discourse in Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21, and Revelation beginning in chapter 4 are all about the 70th week which is still pending.

The Lord’s discourse in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21 concerning the time of the end is all focused upon the generation of national Israel that will be living during the 70th week. No known events on the earth are included in the time lapse between the end of the 69th week [about 33 A.D.] and the beginning of the future 70th week. There have been many attempts to insert them, but they are not there. All of the time lapse of last 2,000+ years up to this very day is not included in the visions.

For example, the Roman invasions of Israel in 70 A.D. are not presented in the scope of the visions. These events occurred long after the 69th week and were certainly not part of the 70th which is still pending. The people of the prince that shall come [satan's beast in the little horn, king of the northern Middle East] were not the Romans in the first century.

These will be the followers of the this king during the 70th week. The 6th king "position" that John sees, the king that "is", will be the little horn of Daniel's visions and not a Roman king in the first century. John sees the "things that shall be hereafter" .... the coming 70th week.

The Lord also addresses the mystery kingdom of the Church [composed of a few Israelites and many Gentiles] in the parables of Matthew 25. His focus is on His “harpazo” action which will divide professing christianity into those that are ready .... and those that are not. The first [both dead and living together] will be immortalized and the balance will remain to experience the tribulations of 70th week.

Some of national Israel and of the nations will repent and turn to the Lord during His hour of trial and judgment, but most will not. Many of these who turn will be martyed for their faith and a few will survive the period. The development of this mystery kingdom [the church] was revealed at Pentecost and will be completed when the fullness of the Gentiles are added. [Romans 11:25]

The precept of the time frame of the 70 weeks of years decreed for national Israel must be applied to all unfilled prophecy written in scripture for correct and accurate exegesis of the prophetic scriptures. All of the content of future events can be identified and these will fit exactly into this time frame.

Most traditional interpretations do not incorporate this method of exegesis and all of them have difficulties that require some level of apologetics, selective allegory, contextual extraction, misapplication of scriptures, and elimination of the same. I would suggest the student of Bible prophecy test the precept of the 70 weeks decreed against all known scriptural passages related to visionary prophecy. I will be glad to assist any one with reconciliations related to the pre-conceptions of other views.

Daniel 9:24-27 is a prophecy concerning the Messiah (Hebrew Ma·shi´ach) or Christ (Greek Khri·stos´). Daniel 9:24 says that "there are seventy weeks that have been determined upon (Daniel's) people and upon your holy city, in order to terminate transgression, and to finish off sin, and to make atonement for error, and to bring in righteousness for times indefinite, and to imprint a seal upon vision and prophet, and to anoint the holy of holies." How was this fulfilled ?

God set a timetable or appointed time to "terminate transgression, and to finish off sin", to "make atonement for error", "to bring in righteousness for times indefinite", "to imprint a seal upon vision and prophet", and "to anoint the holy of holies". To accomplish this, "seventy weeks" of years had been determined or set by God.

At Daniel 9:25, the angel told Daniel that "you should know and have the insight that from the going forth of the word to restore and to rebuild Jerusalem until Mes·si´ah the Leader, there will be seven weeks, also sixty-two weeks." The "seventy weeks" is a period of 490 years starting "from the going forth of the word to restore and rebuild Jerusalem." This "word" went forth in 455 B.C.E., "in the month Ni´san, in the twentieth year of Ar·ta·xerx´es (Longimanus) the king", that Nehemiah made a request of King Artaxerxes to "send me to Judah, to the city of the burial places of my forefathers, that I may rebuild it."(Neh 2:1, 5)

Over the course of "seven weeks"(of years) or 49 years, repair work on the city and the walls went forward, with the walls being completed on the 25th day of Elul (August-September), in just 52 days.(Neh 6:15) After the rebuilding of the walls first, the repairing of the rest of Jerusalem went forward. As to the first seven “weeks” (49 years), Nehemiah, with the help of Ezra and, afterward, others who may have succeeded them, worked, “in the straits of the times,” with difficulty from within, among the Jews themselves, and from without, on the part of the Samaritans and others.(Neh 4:1)

As to the following “sixty-two weeks” (Dan 9:25), these, being part of the 70 and named second in order, would continue from the conclusion of the “seven weeks.” Therefore, the time “from the going forth of the word” to rebuild Jerusalem until “Messiah the Leader” would be 7 plus 62 “weeks,” or 69 “weeks”—483 years—from the year 455 B.C.E. to 29 C.E. In the autumn of that year, 29 C.E., Jesus was baptized in water, being anointed with holy spirit, and began his ministry as “Messiah the Leader.”(Luke 3:1, 2, 21, 22)

Daniel 9:26 says that "after the sixty-two weeks Mes·si´ah will be cut off, with nothing for himself." Verse 27 says that God "must keep the covenant in force for the many for one week; and at the half of the week he will cause sacrifice and gift offering to cease." What covenant ? The Abrahamic covenant was to be kept "in force for the many for one week", whereas "at the half of the week" will "sacrifice and gift offering (the Mosaic Law covenant) cease".

With Jesus death on Nisan 14, 33 C.E., 3 1/2 years later or "half of the week", "sacrifice and gift offering" ceased, this brought to an end the Mosaic Law covenant (but not the Abrahamic covenant), that had been in force for over fifteen hundred years for the nation of Israel, since its inception in 1513 B.C.E. at Mount Sinai. Daniel 11:22 also prophetically speaks of Jesus as the "Leader of the covenant" that was "broken" at his death.

The need for the animal sacrifices and the gift offerings prescribed by the Law ceased when the resurrected Jesus presented the value of his sacrificed human life to God in heaven on th day of Pentecost 33 C.E. Although the Jewish priests continued to make offerings until the destruction of Jerusalem’s temple in 70 C.E., such sacrifices were no longer acceptable to God. They had been replaced by a better sacrifice, one that never had to be repeated. The apostle Paul wrote that Christ "offered one sacrifice for sins perpetually . . . For it is by one sacrificial offering that he has made those who are being sanctified perfect perpetually.”(Hebrews 10:12, 14)

How, then, could it be said that the Messiah “must keep the covenant in force for the many for one week” ? Because he kept the Abrahamic covenant in force. Until the 70th week ended, God extended the blessings of that covenant to Abraham’s Hebrew offspring or the Jews. But at the end of the “seventy weeks” of years, in 36 C.E., the apostle Peter preached to the devout Italian man Cornelius, his household, and other Gentiles. And from that day on, the good news began to be declared among people of the nations.(Acts 3:25, 26; 10:1-48; Galatians 3:8, 9, 14) Thus, in 36 C.E., the Abrahamic covenant that God made with Abraham, for "all nations to bless themselves" through his "seed"(Gen 22:18), in 1943 B.C.E., was now extended, not only to the Jews but now to Gentiles, with the conversion of Cornelius.

Sorry, but I cannot agree regarding the 70th week

The 70th week part decreed is still future and it is the Lord who will confirm by executing the 70th

There is a breach in the vision between the end of the 69th week [about 33 A.D.] and the beginning of the coming 70th week .... the Lord has delayed His second advent

The covenant confirmed is the 70 weeks of years time frame within the context of Daniel 9

Israel is still in unbelief yet today, but this is going to change at the end of this present age during the coming tribulation period

All 6 of the objectives written in Daniel's vision will be met for the "many" .... the believing remnant part of the nation that will turn to their Messiah and King ... the vision is not about the church of both Jew and mostly Gentiles

When the fullness of the Gentiles has been added the Lord will begin the 70th week decreed for Israel and complete it [Romans 11]

Daniel 9 is not divided into two different time periods, but is one continuous flow of time, for Daniel 9:24 says that "there are seventy weeks that have been determined upon your people and upon your holy city." Daniel 9:25 then sets out the starting point for events that would be accomplished during the "seventy weeks". Daniel 9:26 lays out when the Messiah would be "cut-off, with nothing for himself " during the middle of the 70th weeks of years, when he was put to death on the torture stake on Nisan 14, 33 C.E.(Dan 9:27b)

Daniel 9:27 follows verse 26, not separated off or breached, as if it were another time period, for it says that "he (the Messiah) must keep the (Abrahamic) covenant in force for the many for one week." Thus, from Jesus baptism and the beginning of the Messiah's public ministry in 29 C.E., to the end of the 70th week in 36 C.E., was the Abrahamic covenant kept in force strictly for the Jews and completed the 70th week of years. Hence, "people of the nations" (Acts 11:1) were now invited into the blessings that will result from the Abrahamic covenant, in which God told Abraham that "by means of your seed all nations of the earth will certainly bless themselves due to the fact that you have listened to my voice.’”(Gen 22:18)

Because Abraham "listened to (God's) voice", "all nations of the earth will certainly bless themselves", with Gentiles and Jews both having the opportunity to "bless themselves" through exercising faith in Jesus Christ as God's "only-begotten Son."(John 3:16) Until the end of the 70th week, this was not available to the Gentiles. The Jews had the opportunity to be fully "Abraham's seed" when God told them in 1513 B.C.E., after having just left Egypt, that "you yourselves will become to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation."(Ex 19:6)

The nation of Israel, though failed in becoming "a kingdom of priests and a holy nation". The apostle Paul wrote that the Jews, because "of not knowing the righteousness of God but seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God."(Rom 10:3) Therefore, Paul said that "not all who spring from Israel are really “Israel.” Neither because they are Abraham’s seed are they all children."(Rom 9:6, 7) The "people of the nations" were thus invited into the Abrahamic covenant, along with natural Jews, to "bless themselves" with everlasting life as "kings and priests".(Rev 5:9, 10) Abraham's "seed" would now be more than just fleshly descendants of Abraham, when the door was opened for Gentiles in 36 C.E.

We are just about to enter into the last week, when Christ begins to open the 7 seals..it will be the bloodiest time of mans history, but also the time of the last two prophets of God.

The first 3 1/2 years start with the beginning of the Antichrist's effort of world conquest, which helps plunge the world into the deadliest wars in history, followed by the resulting famines, disease, persecutions, and complete breakdown of the old world order, making way for the Satan’s mimic kingdom of Jehovah’s real one by means of his New World Order. And as Christ himself had said, many of the holy ones will be fooled by this.

Oil is the key. Oil has become the life blood of the world's economies. The Antichrist will likely gain broad power by controlling much of the world's oil supply, as well as the internet, banking, satellite systems, and nuclear weapons to be sure.
The Gospel must be preached to all nations is a requirement before the end time comes. And this commission is carried out by the elite two witness group. The Great Commission will be completed as the Gentile world overwhelmingly rejects Christ. As last and formal worship of Jehovah stops 30 days before the two witnesses complete their mission and Wild Beast is set up.

The Two Witnesses that come to prophesy are slain by the Beast and resurrected after 3 1/2 days. This occurs just before the Wild Beast takes over supreme control. The two witnesses will preach the good news of the kingdom in this first time period. It will be a worldwide work, and one filled with works greater than that of Christ. Like Christ, these last two are cut off in the middle of the last week

Satan has been expelled and hurled down to the earth。Christ now rules, but the Kingdom does not become Jehovah’s or his Christ’s until the 7th Trumpet.

Seventh Seal: Silence in Heaven for 1/2 an hour, or 21 months until 1st trumpet is blown. The Nations have been lulled into a sense of false peace and security by this skilled Politician. The call of peace and security may go forward on or before the silence in heaven comes to its end. During this time the instruments of the destruction are being prepared in heaven ready to be poured out on the wild beast and those that’ve accepted his mark.

There is a space of 1/2 hour between Seventh seal and First Trumpet=21 Months?

First Trumpet/ First Bowl: Hail of fire – first plague strikes earth. 1/3 plants die in the destruction。
Second Trumpet/ Second Bowl: Fiery Mountain hurled into sea - 1/3 sea life dies.
Sea turns to blood. 1/3 of sea creatures die, 1/3 of boats destroyed.
Third Trumpet/ Third Bowl: The star Wormwood falls to the earth. 1/3 rivers are poisoned. Many people die from drinking this.
Fourth Trumpet/ Fourth Bowl: 1/3 heavens darkened by smoke and fires.
Fifth Trumpet/ Fifth Bowl: 5 months of torture by locusts. The Kingdom of the wild beast begins to darken. Trumpets 5-7 are the last 3 woes. Jehovah’s people released 110 days before Armageddon.
Sixth Trumpet/ Sixth Bowl: The 200 million man army of the wild beast gets ready to move on in on Babylon to destroy it at the appointed time for its destruction. 1/3 of mankind (another 1.5+ billion people) will be eradicated.

Satan has been expelled. He drags down one third of the Heavens with him to the earth in great rage knowing his time is short, namely, 1260 days or 3.5 years, the same duration as that of his final and last king.

144,000 are sealed by God. Holy ones of the remainder of the remnant are taken into the wilderness for the second 3 1/2 years, "On the wings of a giant eagle."

The second 3 1/2 years start with the Abomination of Desolation: The Antichrist invades the holy place of Jehovah and sets himself up as god in the temple in Jerusalem, eliminating all true worship around the world. He occupies and tramples on Jerusalem for 3 1/2 years. This thing is served by a false prophet that forces all on the earth to bow down to it. It performs signs so as to mislead many, even some of Gods holy ones too.

The Antichrist comes to power in this turbulent time as a skilled politician. He is given control of the world's economic and political systems by the 10 nations in hopes that he can bring peace. He takes over and destroys Christian worship around the world. Jehovah’s people go into servitude under the boot heel of Babylon the Great and the Wild Beast for the period of 2300 evenings and mornings or 1150 days This antichrist is also Satan’s mimic kingdom of Gods real one, many will be fooled by it when he arrives believing Gods kingdom is represented through this beast, just after the demise of America and Britain. The World follows this beast with wonderment and awe.

The Mark of the Beast is instituted to represent the force of absolute allegiance to the one world government/religion. Anyone who does not carry this mark cannot buy or sell, and may well perish by means of the Sword.

The Great Harlot, Christianized Rome, embodied by the western countries in false worship, will hand power over to the Beast but will be betrayed by him in a single day of fiery destruction.
The World's armies get ready and prepare to move on in on to Babylon to destroy it. The Wild Beast will send an Army of 200 million men, ruthlessly killing half the world’s population along the way. This is the second last woe.

Seventh Trumpet/ Seventh Bowl: Poured out in the air - lightning, hail, and earthquake. Cities of the nations fall
(last trumpet). The 6 bowls of God’s wrath have come to their completion and the 7th is finally poured out, this is the last, it is Armageddon.

The 144000 rise as Christ returns and His kingdom on earth is declared, and the 144000, both those sleeping in the dust and those still alive at sounding of the 7th trumpet are taken up to their places to be Kings and Priests along with Christ for a reign of 1000 years.

The Sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky announcing Christ's return... Every person on earth will see Christ as He returns, and begin to beat themselves in lamentation and fall out of fear for what is about to occur.

The remnant of Israel will rise to Christ in an instant.

The seventh bowl is poured out on the beast's kingdom and mankind as a judgment on those who have received his mark. This is definitely the last. The finish of Gods anger.

Christ destroys the world's armies at Armageddon. Blood will come up to the horse’s bridles for 200 miles as Christ slays some millions of troops and saves Israel his people from annihilation.

The Great White Throne Judgment separates those who are in the book of Life from those who rejected Christ. The wicked are finally destroyed.
The old universe passes away with a roar and a new heaven and earth are created.
The New Jerusalem, the eternal city, comes down out of heaven. Eternal future begins. The tent of God will indeed be with mankind, and they will indeed be his peoples. Harmony is restored, and Jehovah once again, becomes all things to all those that love him.

The General Tribulation covers the entire 7 years.
The Great Tribulation is the second 3 1/2 years.
The Day of the Jehovah begins when Jesus Christ rules in heaven after Satan’s expulsion.
The first 3 1/2 years ends in death, the second 3 1/2 ends in resurrection = 7 years for Jehovah’s perfect plan.
