A CALL TO REFLECTION: DO NOT IGNORE GOD’S WORD
"See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;"
Deuteronomy 30:15 (KJV)
Beloved, the Word of God is not a casual suggestion, it is life and death. Every page carries the eternal heartbeat of the Almighty. To reject His Word is to reject life itself.
The Lord warns us:
"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." – Galatians 6:7 (KJV)
We live in an age where many treat sin like a harmless shadow and God’s commandments like an old story. But the Bible declares that every disobedience has a consequence. Ignoring God’s warnings today opens the door to destruction tomorrow.
Just as in the days of Noah, men laughed, ate, drank, and married until the flood came and swept them away (Matthew 24:37-39). The message of salvation was preached, yet many hardened their hearts. Do not repeat their mistake!
"Today if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts."
Hebrews 3:15 (KJV)
Take time to reflect:
Is your life aligned with God’s Word?
Have you allowed compromise to replace holiness?
If Christ were to return right now, would you be found ready or wanting?
God’s mercy is abundant, but His judgment is sure. Now is the time to repent, return, and realign with His truth.
"Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near."
Isaiah 55:6 (KJV)
The Lord is speaking. The warning is clear. The decision is yours.
Choose life. Choose obedience. Choose Christ.
Beloved, now that you have read through, take a moment to pause and reflect on this message.
Let’s not just read, but truly listen to God’s Word. Now, let’s pray together and invite His Spirit to move deeply in our hearts.
Heavenly Father,
We come before You humbly, recognizing Your voice through Your holy Word. Lord, forgive us for the times we have ignored, overlooked, or neglected Your instructions and guidance. Help us to open our hearts and minds fully to receive Your truth, knowing it is life and light to our souls.
Father, by Your Spirit, awaken us from any spiritual slumber. Let Your Word burn in our hearts like a fire that cannot be quenched. Help us to meditate on it daily, to obey it earnestly, and to walk faithfully in Your ways.
Grant us the wisdom to discern Your voice amid the noise of the world. May we never treat Your Word as something ordinary but as the sacred, living message that transforms us from within.
Lord, we ask for Your grace to be doers of the Word, not hearers only, deceiving ourselves. Strengthen our faith to stand firm in Your promises and to reflect Your light to others.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray,
Amen.
