King James Bible, 1 Cor 9:

17 For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation [G4100] of the gospel is committed unto me.
The Greek original is not a noun but a verb:

I am entrusted with
πεπίστευμαι (pepisteumai)
Verb - Perfect Indicative Middle or Passive - 1st Person Singular
Strong's 4100: From pistis; to have faith, i.e. Credit; by implication, to entrust.

New King James Version:

For if I do this willingly, I have a reward; but if against my will, I have been entrusted with a stewardship.
