Just got back from visiting a friend at the hospital.
Went in last week and got a diagnosis of bone cancer with 3 weeks to live.
So now down to two weeks.
Pray for salvation ABOVE all else. Healing would be nice, but pray for his REAL need.
Jesus is the great physician and I don't have any problem with Him healing by ending all pain.
I pray for a quick homecoming for my friend, Gregory.
Lord give him whatever he needs to seek you. Be it a healing or worsening pain.
Jesus just be the one he turns to as his time grows short.
Amen

UPDATE (also posted below):

Gregory has been given a 50/50 chance to live 1-2 years.
He has started treatment... Not going well at all.
Continue to pray for his soul over healing as that is the real need.
Also his common law spouse needs the same, minus the cancer part.
Salvation is the best medicine.

Update II:

It looks like Gregory will have his life support pulled in the next day or two.
His mother has arrived and made the end-of-life decisions.
We are here to be salt and light and we will continue to be for his girlfriend.
Who knows the heart of a man at the final moments of life... we will continue to pray for his soul until the last moment.
Thanks everyone for your prayers. Now we shift to support mode. But miracles can still happen. So if anyone has faith for a real miracle... I am not that kind of prayer warrior.

Update IV (final)

Gregory lost his battle yesterday.
Thanks for all your prayers.
We don't know that he came to faith in God before the end... but that is between Gregory and God.
We pray for his family and girlfriend.
We will continue to be salt and light to them.
Thanks again for the prayers.

I'm sorry to hear this of your friend brother. I pray that God remove any obstacles that are preventing your friend from seeing and hearing God and that he will respond and reach out to Jesus. I pray his fear will be removed and his eyes will be opened, amen.

Father, please help David Boyer's friend come to a saving relationship with Jesus before it's too late.

I ask that you give him visions, convict his heart, do whatever is necessary in order to save him. We trust You with this and know You are able to reveal the truth to this man.

In Jesus' name I pray,

Amen.

Doctors have some nerve! Predicting when someone will succumb to their terminal diagnosis timeline.

Don't countdown the days he has left. Count the blessings you and Gregory shared as friends.

Pray for his healing and remission. One of the most effective conversion miracles? When a terminal atheist recovers their health. And finds out many Christian people were praying for that.

Atheist author Christopher Hitches was diagnosed with esophageal cancer years ago. He smoked and imbibed hard liquor.

When he was in the first stages of his cancer he wasn't all that keen on people praying for him. If I remember correctly, he even asked people not to pray.

Later, bald now due to the treatments, gaunt, he was told people were praying for him.

He expressed gratitude.

Months later "'Hitch'' ,as he was called, was in remission.
Prognosis was good.

After that bit of news Hitch was admitted to the hospital. Where he later died.
Of pneumonia.

A complication related to his type of cancer.

If you think about it all those prayers worked. Hitch didn't die of the cancer people prayed would not claim his life.

He died from a complication related to the cancer.

He was a published atheist. He was also a journalist before that.

His last words?
''Capitalism downfall.''

Praying Gregory is healed entirely of his cancer. And regains his life so to live and be of service to the father. Amen.
