We sort of live in a dictatorship even in the USA although no one admits it. Government power, court power over the people. We live in a heavy policed nation just like Israel.

Vietnam was an atrocity as I don't see a threat to national security. So jailing people that didn't want to fight is offensive to those that honor freedom. I heard Vietnam was created by the democrats. The same democrats that are taking away our freedoms today.

Israel is different in that military service is a requirement for all citizens. There's no option to opt out for anyone who is in good health.

My thoughts are that this Marxism is affecting even Israel... refusing to fight Hamas is just saying you don't care if terrorists kill your family and countrymen.

At the time many refused to fight in Vietnam because Congress did not "declare the war" so to legally call for the draft. I.E it was a illegal war.

Americas government plays the empathy card claiming our war involvement is for humanitarian reasons.
When in truth we are at war anywhere because we can exploit a nations resources.

Years ago when an oil dereck off the Florida coast blew and polluted the Gulf it was a crisis. Ohhhh nooooo!

Highly doubt the media celebrates the atrocity. Israeli men and women are obligated to serve. Just as they were in the US when Viet Nam started. Now we can barely meet the quotas at all. Isn't it odd that this brave young man can come to the conclusions he does and yet many Christians approve of a God continuing the cycle of violence by burning people for eternity!

I was thinking about this yesterday. I think we live under 10X more bondage than the Hebrews in Egypt ever were.

The government controls absolutely every aspect of our lives. Medical care. Food ditribution (In many places it is illegal to grow your own food now), our travel is 100% controlled, and if you run into hard times by all means go depend on the gubmint and get some assisstance!What dont they have their hand in?

From what I can tell there's only two big areas that they cant control about people yet but they want to badly. And they are all of people face to face private financial transactions...and...everyone is walking around armed to the teeth!

But if the American people allow them to change the monetary system away from cash and going all digital cash with the NSA or whoever nobitoring all of your transactions and purchases.
No more Garage Sales. No more side work for cash. No more black market at all. No more private firearm transactions. None of that. And a short coupe years later, a new program! Called, you cant use your card to purchase that item because it is considered contraband for you...Or even the simpler, it must be a computer glitch? And they will control what you can buy and what you cant buy.

I'm with you on this. He is an Israeli kid but is talking about how the Palistinians are oppressed? That's stupid kid stuff! It is a small country and everyone should pitch in and do their part. What's wrong with that?

If all the people of the USA fed their neighbors and took care of each other, no one would need the government to take care of them (oppression style). The welfare system and rax system could almost go away. Like it was back in Western days, people took care of each other. You need help building a barn? I'll help you. Can I get you a drink? Have you ate yet?
That's one of the things that I like very much about the Polish people. They are a very hospitable people. Before I married their daughter, I was at her parents house many times, and I couldnt step foot in that place before her mama was setting food down in front of me. Coffee too? I though that was super cool.

He's a young kid though. Instead of sending him to prison they should just send him to boot camp and teach him some non combat miitary function so he probably wont have to kill, since he's against that in any way. That would work I think.
