This power is not a privilege for some more spiritual individuals, but a gift granted to all who are in Christ. This power strengthens you in the evil day, comforts you in pain, propels you in mission and firmly grounds you in truth.
Knowing this power is a turning point in spiritual life, this generates faith, awakens spiritual awareness and encourages a bolder life in God and when you recognize that this force is already operating, you are led to a confrontation with your previous condition. Ephesians 2:1, Paul reminds you of a disconcerting truth, you were dead in your trespasses and sins, this death was not physical, but spiritual, a total separation from God. This condition left you insensitive to the divine presence, distant from the truth, insnared by the desires of the flesh and the darkness of understanding.
