I don't think so. Red breast Doves don't look anything like that. At least,not those I'm familiar with.
Yes, you are correct, just looked it up. Never seen a robin that big but wow...beautiful!

I was thinking she fattened up with some worms for the winter.
Maybe she knows where all the bird feeders are. :)
I know that chickens will puff out their feathers to keep in warmth.
That's one chubby Robin. LOL
I bet that is what the robin in my yard is doing...puffing up. These look like your chickens, yours are prettier though.

That bird must be one early early riser , cause it looks like its done caught and ate a can of worms .
In the background you see the snow . I bet its fluffed up a bit to keep warm .
Either that or there is not a safe place for a worm one in that area .

if the cause of that was worms , some is more likely to have a word follow it with CANS .
Cause if worms be the cause of that , well that ol robin went on a feedy frenzy and didnt look back or wait on anything .
We have tons of holly trees with a whole lot of holly berries, the bird is back again, and surrounded by the holly bushes/trees! I'm sure he looks this big because of puffing up for warmth. Love them!

That is how well fattend the sheep should be on the lovely words of the Glorious LORD . fat and happy .
This is just one Holly bush behind my place, but the area is full of them so. No worms for them for a while!

its robzilla . Lol . I seen a dog years ago .
This dog was massive in size and weight .
It was while i still worked at the s tores .
At times people would let their dogs out to use the restroom .
I seen it and was like OH dear someone gonna need a fire hose and a dump truck if that dog lets loose . Lol .
