Greetings Walter and Debbie,
He presents a series of very intricate articles but he does not mention that the spelling Yehovah is based upon an incorrect reading of YHWH, and the text has two different versions with the attached vowel points of Adonai or Elohim to warn the reader to avoid reading the Divine Name which they considered too sacred to pronounce. Refer to Strong's Concordance # 3068 and 3069 which speak about the reason why the vowel points of Adonai and Elohim were added to YHWH.

Kind regards
Trevor

Greetings again Walter,
I would not be so quick to say what you are saying.
I was not hasty, but have examined this aspect many times. Perhaps you have not spent the time to read Strongs as this is well endorsed by most scholars and is obvious if you consider the various mentions of the two different forms of YHWH such as in Isaiah 50. This will take a little bit of time also, but not too difficult..

Kind regards
Trevor

Greetings again Walter,

The following reading of the Schema Deuteronomy 6:4 by a Jewish Rabbi is a reasonable example of how they avoid the reading or the pronunciation of the YHWH Name. In this example the Rabbi substitutes Adonai instead of the two occurrences of YHWH. They certainly do not attempt to pronounce or read the YHWH Name by using the vowel points from Adonai as per your theme.

Kund regards

It is a long story.....It is hard to track down the culprits. I am thinking they will end up in Hell.
It may come as a shock to you that the names of God the Father and God the Son are not in your Bibles
Way back when, in Paleo-Hebrew Yahweh actual name was in the Old Testament around 6,800 times. Then they removed His name and replaced it with the tetragrammaton YHWH around 6,800 times. They then removed YHWH and replaced it with God or Lord or both and adjusted the grammar for it to make sense, around 6,800 times. This is an extreme and massive corruption of the scriptures, because it can change the meaning and substance of the scriptures.

As far as God the Son, the word used for Yeshua's name in the New Testament, is the Greek word Ἰησοῦς (Iēsoús) and it actually means healer. It is not name so don't try to find anyone in Greek history that has that for a name. Besides that, Miriam was a Jew and would not give her Son a Greek word for a name.

And just so you know there is no name or place or thing that starts with the letter J in the scriptures. No J's in the scriptures....No one knows where the name Jesus came from. It just appeared in the 17th century along with the King James Version's Shakespeare style writing. In fact in the earliest revisions of the KJV the word Iēsoús was used.

There are Bibles that have put their names in the scriptues.....They are called Sacred Names Bibles.

This is the first time I have ever heard this suggestion. Very obscure. I am happy with the Hebrew Bible rather than some obscure speculation. I hold to the Tetragrammaton YHWH.

The Name of Jesus is also an associated word. Refer:
Numbers 13:16 (AV): These are the names of the men which Moses sent to spy out the land. And Moses called Oshea the son of Nun Jehoshua.

Kind regards

Christians deserve to know and they can look it up if they do not believe me.....or put their head in the sand and say they do not care.......No harm, no foul.

Hello and how are you all? Love always from Walter and Debbie

Love always, Walter and Debbie
Dear Walter and Debbie-
Are you guys born Jewish? You are still under 613 laws of torah?
I looked around on that site. It's a bit disturbing. It's Kabaalah.. Reincarnation of the soul so that you have multiple chances at life to get it right. This site should not be paid attention to.
I agree with Trevor- I'm surprised that you disagree. There is no valid reason to disagree. This site seems a bit like Gnosticism. Be careful.

The English name Jesus first appeared in the late 12th century. Its pathway through history follows a linguistic chain that reveals its theological meaning:
Hebrew: Yehoshua → “Yahweh is salvation”
  1. Aramaic/Hebrew (later form): Yeshua → common name in post-exilic Judaism
  2. Greek: Iesous → rendering of Yeshua in the Septuagint and New Testament
  3. Latin: Iesus → standard in the early church and Western Christianity
  4. English: Jesus → established in late medieval and early modern usage

The word Jesus was not used in the Geneva Bible 1560 or in the original KJV's.
Now if you can prove it was used before that as far as a document or Bible I would love to know that.

The Jews were rebuked for not saying the Divine name

Jer 12:16
And it shall come to pass, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, The Lord liveth; as they taught my people to swear by Baal; then shall they be built in the midst of my people.

What? Haven't you ever seen the olde English inscribed on old buildings? That's all that is. I can't type it on here.. it was the Latin form, Iefus- the f was for the s.

YHWH is "pronounced" from a little birdy I heard from as:
"Yah"-uh-'Vay"
As He really doesn't care His name to be pronounced
"
'Yaw-'Way"
Although He does tolerate:
"'Jeh-'Hoe-Vuh"
The Divine Names and Titles. - Appendix to the Companion Bible
No one is certain. While I think He understands if we do mispronounce it ,It's wrong to insist that we know for sure. The most important thing is- Is God your Father? I call him abba- my Father. Jesus never taught us to use anything other than, Father. Not once! Nor did He use anything but Father.

LOL Just give me proof that the word Jesus showed up as Christ's name before 17th century.
It is not going to hurt my feelings, just something else to know.

Seriously?! Of course His name was used- it was spelled Iefus. That is the best I can type it on here. Remove the crossbar from the f.
THAT was the Latin form Iesus- Olde English used that letter f with no crossbar for all S's.

I find no meaning for lefus.
This is what I find.....
Latin is Iesus in formal contexts, derived from the Greek Iēsous (Ἰησοῦς),
But what I am saying is that the word Jesus is not used before the 17th century.
And like I said it is not going to hurt my feeling if you can prove me wrong.
