A warning: How scammers get control of your computer

I've been watching scambaiters' videos as they are informative for non-tech savvy people like me.

Scammers pretend to be Microsoft support, Amazon, etc, often saying you are due a refund. Or claiming your computer is infected with viruses.

They try to get you to install programs which gives them full control of your computer. They then try to enter your bank account and steal from you.

Usually the program scammers use is called "AnyDesk". Do not install it onto your computer!

The following video explains another program Connectwise Control. This program operates without you knowing. This program allows a scammer to see everything you do on the computer, even controlling your webcam.

This is great news. AnyDesk which is usually the program which scammers use to get remote control of your computer is now working with Kitboga!

As Kitboga talks with the scammers, AnyDesk is able to ban the scammers' from connecting to victims' computers. So AnyDesk is helping to save multitudes of elderly victims. After they ban the scammers, they then notify the victims it was a scam.

Warning: There is very brief bad language by one Indian scammer. But 99% of the video is ok.

FULLY AGREE…invention of the “INTERNET”, (while having the ability to use FOR GOOD)…
IS ALSO a Brilliant and easily Accessible “TOOL” for the Evil and Wicked TO:
secretly, underhandedly, lie, cheat, trick, scam, defraud, cause tribulations, cause fear, havoc, threats, loss and sorrow and shame world-wide AGAINST the People at Large.
Remembering….those ^^ things MUST come to pass….

Bottom Line, according to Gods Word…
Trust IN God.
Test Everything.
Place “your” Hope IN God, IN His Promises.
Beware of men, whose word, whose promises DO NOT Parallel Gods Word and His Way.

In Vegas one casino suffered as did their hotel patrons who were not
Able to get into their rooms.

Apparently,these scammers know no bounds. Especially when using ransomware.

Blessings in Christ Jesus! Two years ago I was trying to get a refund from Ebay and I ended up in a place like this(India). As I was talking to them The Lord spoke and told me to go down now to my two banks and take the money out and close down the accounts. It took about an hour but it was just in time. Two new accounts were opened up and the bank watched them for awhile. I also have back up harddrives and back up older computers to go when needed. Had The Lord not intervened I too would of been had. The Lord is Good all the time.

Make sure you uninstall any program they had you put on your computer so they could have remote control of it. Usually it will be AnyDesk or Connectwise Control.

I've emailed a few of these scambaiter videos to inform people I know.

One friend thanked me and replied she was one click away from them getting her money! She said they were all so nice as they transferred her to others. After 20 minutes she started to get suspicious about some of the questions they asked.

Her's was the scam where you get a pop up that your computer has viruses....she made the mistake of phoning the number on the ad....which goes right to a scam center in India.


She had a friend who had actually taken money out of the bank for scammers! The lady's husband thankfully became aware and told her it was a scam.

This was a police scam....the woman actually thought they were going to arrest her!

Our hospital got hacked a few years ago. A couple of weeks ago we got a letter that mom's pension company got hacked. I tried to sign her up for the two year free credit monitoring but they couldn't verify her for some reason. (With the hospital hack, the one year credit monitoring did go through.)

So all I could do was put fraud alerts on her credit reports. Maybe because she hasn't used credit for over thirty years, hopefully that will protect her, too. ???

I put freezes on my credit reports just as a safeguard. Hacker computer genius would be a blessing if they'd only use their skills to better the world.

Some say China employs people just to hack America's infrastructure.
