Because it a Bible issue ... The Old Testament law commanded the Israelites, “Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the LORD” (Leviticus 19:28). So, even though believers today are not under the Old Testament law (Romans 10:4; Galatians 3:23-25; Ephesians 2:15), the fact that there was a command against tattoos should cause us to question. You can talk about these non Biblical things if you like but keep it to the Lounge not Bible study forums

So what do folks think about the age for first earrings?

Trying to remember... Didn't wear earrings till I got my ears pierced.... got them pierced late teens sometime. Certainly after I left school. I have seen small girls wearing earrings which somehow looks wrong to me.
