LONDON, January 18 (IranMania) - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that neither Israel nor its bosses dare to attack Iran, IRNA reported. The remark was made in an interview with the Madrid-based Spanish daily, El Mundo, which was published on Wednesday. The chief executive said that Israel imadinejads well aware of the power of the Iranian people, adding that therefore, the Zionist regime and its bosses will never dare to embark on such a foolish measure and invade Iran. El Mundo explained that the interview was conducted during the recent visit of the Iranian president to Latin America. It added that at the press conference in Nicaragua's capital of Managua, President Ahmadinejad responded to reporters questions with a kind and smiling face. "I believe that it is time for big powers to change their stance on international and Middle East developments," said the president. Ahmadinejad questioned the presence of American and British forces in Iraq, adding that Iraq's problem is the presence of foreign troops. "Just after the aggression of the US and Britain against Iraq the problem of Sunni and Shiite was created in the country," he said. He pointed to Saddam as a dictator being manipulated by Britain and the US, who was lauded once he attacked the Iraqi people and Iran. Concerning Israel, the president told El Mundo, "All Middle East nations hate the Zionist regime, given that it is a dictator and totalitarian regional regime. Ahmadinejad defended his status on Holocaust, saying that if Holocaust existed, where did it take place? He raised the question about the reason such a regime should be imposed on the Palestinian people under the pretext of Holocaust for six decades. "We are not looking for war, clashes and hatred rather we are seeking to solve the issue of the Zionist regime, which is the origin of enmity," he added. He noted that the whole world is aware that the Zionist regime is possessing nuclear weapons and that the US and British express satisfaction with it. "Iran has been cooperating closely with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and has respected international laws and regulations," he said. Elsewhere in his remarks, the president referred to Iran's xcellent relations with Venezuela as well as its growing ties with Nicaragua and said that a new era of Iran-Latin America is beginning. El Mundo is the second Spanish daily with the highest circulation, which has been published for 18 years. Its daily circulation is 500,000 and its website is monthly visited by 10 mln users.
