If your not from the south, I wouldn't suggest it.
I lived in the NE all my life. And then moved to FL to take care of my inlaws.
Now if you like hot muggy weather with a sprinkling of hurricanes and tornadoes.
Or you don't mind spiders twice the size of your palm flying across the walls.
Or poisonous snakes faking they are your water hose when you go to grab it.
Or not wanting to go in the rivers or near any water for that matter due to alligators and water snakes..
by all means enjoy your move.
If you really want to know what Florida is like,
Go in the middle of August. If your anyhting like me you'll just melt into a puddle of goo.

Can't forget those little tiny ants that bite your toes and they swell up for a week.
One bite,

I went to mow my back yard. Run the mower over this little hill.
All of a sudden I was covered in ants. I ran through the yard stripping off my clothes as I got to the back door.
Thank goodness the neighbors weren't home.
Yeah.. NE is new england not Nebraska btw.
Just making sure I got that right lol

Is that a cottonmouth?

This snake was like 8 feet long and thick like the one in your picture but it had diamond markings on it.
My neighbor said it was a cottonmouth.
I don't know I didn't hang around long enough for it to open it's mouth.
He said it was a constrictor.. Idk we don't have such things up here in Maine.
