Brothers & sisters in Christ,

In the story of this horrific execution by firing squad in Indonesia, the Brisbane Times (29 April 2015) reported in, 'Bali executions: Eight prisoners refused to wear blindfolds as they were shot':

'In the still night air of Nusakambangan island, condemned prisoners sang Amazing Grace just after midnight. They also sang Bless the Lord O My Soul before their song was cut off by the crack of gunfire.

It was breathtaking. This was the first time I witnessed someone so excited to meet their God.
Pastor Karina de Vega
As details began to emerge of the final minutes of the group, who included the Bali nine pair Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran, it was revealed all eight prisoners rebuffed offers of blindfolds, opting instead to stare at their executioners while they broke out in song'.

Isn't it amazing that some in this group were so rehabilitated by Jesus that they went to their deaths singing Amazing Grace and Bless the Lord O My Soul and the firing squad caused those songs to cease? What's even more amazing is that a secular mass media outlet thought it worthy of reporting.

Why don't you sign this petition, 'Andrew's and Myuran's deaths were shocking – end AFP sharing info on death penalty cases', to protest against what the Australian Federal Police did in alerting the Indonesian police, so that this never happens again? If this strikes a chord with you, you could forward the information to your friends as I have just done.

We have had leading Australian politicians protesting against what Indonesia did, but it was the AFP that alerted the Indonesian police to the drugs associated with these drug runners.
