Even Obama referred to Biden as being wring about all things foreign policy wise.
Japan is getting mad ......Having lived in Japan for over six years ....they will be patient ......I think they will wade through this ......Rahm Emmanuel is the Ambassdor of Japan for the US. The population and politians consider him to be rude and interfering ......Rightfully so.
When you walk the streets of Japan, ride trains and buses .....You realize something right away .....You are in a foreign country and it shows. For those Americans who are tall ....we tower above most Japanese. You will always see girls holding girls hands or arm in arm. Boys not so much, but they exist as well. Thsi does not mean they are homosexual. They are friends. The culture does not allow same sex marriage, but ignores the same. There no laws to cover the issue. Japan does not want the issue in law. The culture just accepts the possibilty ........ But don't force the issue. Japanese will be polite to the depths of hell ...they don't say no....do not force a misguided Leftist American Value onto the Japanese. He needs to shut up, stop insulting the Japanese, serve his final two years and simply fade into the sunset.
