Someone contacted me, asking me to start another thread with this same topic (as the previous thread (To @DNB concerning the Deity of Christ...) was closed) because they still had something to say on the topic in response to what some people said within the thread.

I will begin with the last post of the previous topic and what I said in it:

God as the Holy Spirit dwells within me...so I won't be referring to the One on the throne before me as Holy Spirit.

And Jesus and the Father are ONE; yet distinct from one another: in that the Father is the Spirit who inhabiteth eternity and Jesus is the same Spirit in the flesh.

The Father is Omnipresent while the Son dwells in a finite human body.

But they are the same Person.

I know that it will not be departing from the truth to refer to Jesus as "Abba, Father" therefore.

But I am certain that we will also call Him by name.

I am certain that we will also address the Father by the name that is above every name.

The person who asked me to start this new thread can also go to the previous thread and copy and paste the thing that he desires to respond to.

I hope I am not overstepping my bounds by re-opening this topic for discussion.

Hopefully the reason why the previous thread was closed (that I singled out an individual) is not inherent in this new thread so that there will be no reason to come down hard on me as though I were bucking the authority of the moderators. That is not my intention.

Thanks for the opportunity There is One God

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, He is the image of the invisible God, Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name, Jesus is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

Follow the conversation The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.

John 8:19 Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.

20 These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.

21 Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come.

22 Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come.

23 And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.

24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
