Actually those pagan astrologers were not guided by God at all….if they were guided by God, the star would not have led them to Herod, whose jealousy was piqued at the mention of a new “king of the Jews”…..no one but his own sons would succeed this proud king. He would make sure of it.Now there's a twisted concept! God sent a special star to guide the magi, it's not some excuse for you to promote astrology!
May the Lord rebuke you!
He put in motion a way to kill this child before he even had a chance to grow up….tricking the magi into revealing his whereabouts…..and in the process, many male infants “two years of age and under” were murdered by his henchmen. Only after the magi had alerted Herod, did the star lead them directly to Jesus, stopping directly above the “house” where he now lived with his parents. Contrary to all those nativity scenes, they were never at the stable. (Matt 2:9-12) And it doesn’t say that there were three of them.
That star with its pagan Christmas celebration is held in high esteem by many…..but it is just another lie presented by the devil to lure people into pagan worship with all the trappings of the original celebration, but with a change of name…..Saturnalia had nothing to do with Jesus…..and Mithra was not the god he served. This is what Christmas is…..very thinly disguised.
There are no birthdates recorded in the Bible because the Jews did not celebrate birthday as they were part of astrological practices that God’s people were told was an abomination to him. That means that Jesus never celebrated his own birthday.
A birthdate was needed to cast a horoscope which supposedly predicted the child’s future life. Astrology and prediction of the future, were forbidden to God’s people unless they were directly from God through his recognized prophets. (Deut 18:9-12) Spirit mediums were banished from the land that God gave to his people.
Who is going to rebuke you then?
