Perfect timing for the deer, plus taking her home, great that he feeds the deer, is food scarce then in the winter for deer?

Was this the guy who used a stick to test the lake? Not sure now...I watched quite a few deer videos! Get them mixed up!

Yes, I guess it is harder for them to find food when it snows.

When I grew up in Pennsylvania, we would always open up the second floor window in Winter and throw peanuts to the squirrels and bread for the birds.

Yes he was checking the ice with a metal pole it looked like, he was still taking a risk though, it was so lovely to watch, I watched it x2...some humans are so incredibly tuned into wildlife....if felt like the deer was so grateful to him.

This is longer but a nice one. He rescued the baby deer from drowning...happy ending.
