1 Corinthians 10:

2 They were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea.
Moses was God’s representative under the Law. The Israelites were symbolically baptized under his leadership.

For Christians, we have a different leader, Matthew 28:

19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Note the singular noun name. In the name of X means in the authority of X.

Acts 2:

38 Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Acts 10:

48 So he ordered that they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked Peter to stay with them for a few days.
Acts 19:

5 On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
Romans 6:

3 Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
Galatians 3:

27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.
Any one of these formulas will do. It is not mouthing the formula that works. It has to do with the repentant heart of the believer. He needs to admit Jesus as Lord and Savior, regardless of the formula.

Is it not so much saying the words as being IN the name? How does get IN the Name? What is the Name?

Ac 4:10Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
Ac 4:11This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner

Ac 4:12Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Joh 17:20Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
Joh 17:21That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

In simple terms, "in the name of" means by the authority of, so, "in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost", or "in the name of Jesus Christ" is acceptable. Reciting an actual name is irrelevant, and what is the name of the Holy Ghost, or what appropriate name is or should be used for God the Father? And there is no record of anyone actually reciting a name when anyone was baptized as part of the ceremonial immersion of individuals. Were the 3000 baptized on the day of Pentecost each hovered over by someone who said "I baptize you in the name of Jesus Christ"? No. No record of this being uttered by anyone prior to the immersion. What's important is that the one being baptized acknowledge belief verbally as did the Ethiopian eunuch in Acts 8 which would be consistent with Romans 10:9-10, as opposed to what is said by the one doing the immersion.
