The baptism a person is looking for is the baptism that comes from the Jesus Christ whom brings forth Holy Spirit from the Father - in which John indicates that - Jesus would baptize others in. The Father first baptized Jesus as a promise; and the promise from Jesus was that from the Father - the promise would to come to them. Which is to us today.

People are baptized from the Father through the Lord Jesus Christ by and through faith.

Luke 24:49 “And behold, I am sending forth the promise of My Father upon you; but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.”

This was a promise made also from the prophet Joel

Joel 2:
“It will come about after this
That I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind;

And here is what John the Baptist said about it all:

Mark 1:7
7 And he was preaching, and saying, “After me One is coming who is mightier than I, and I am not fit to stoop down and untie the thong of His sandals. 8 I baptized you with water; but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.”

Romans 5:5 and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God (Our Father) has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

The baptism that a person should be looking for is the baptism of the Holy Spirit, that comes by and through faith on the Lord Jesus Christ in which our faith makes us justified and have peace with God our Father according to (Romans 5:1). Abraham was credited for righteousness by faith and not through the law. (Romans 4:13)

Also it is said by John as well that Jesus will baptize in fire.

1 Corinthians 1:30 30 But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption,

Strong's Concordance
pur: fire
Original Word: πῦρ, πυρός, τό
Part of Speech: Noun, Neuter
Transliteration: pur
Phonetic Spelling: (poor)
Definition: fire
Usage: fire; the heat of the sun, lightning; fig: strife, trials; the eternal fire.
HELPS Word-studies
4442 pýr – fire. In Scripture, fire is often used figuratively – like with the "fire of God" which transforms all it touches into light and likeness with itself
God's Spirit, like a holy fire, enlightens and purifies so that believers can share more and more in His likeness. Indeed the fire of God brings the uninterrupted privilege of being transformed which happens by experiencing faith from Him. Our lives can become true offerings to Him as we obey this imparted faith from God by His power.
[This is illustrated by God's fire burning continuously at the entrance of the Tabernacle where the priests made sweet-savor offerings. Compare Lev 6:12,13 with 1 Pet 2:5,9.]

This is also very helpful in knowing what the holy spirit with-in the new believer is capable of doing; it conforms us to the likeness of Christ Jesus: being baptized with Christ in His death, and being rose again spiritually, becoming a new creation that is conformed to the image of Christ Jesus; who was the embodiment of God our Father in which Christ had by the spirit of God with-in the Lord Jesus Christ upon being baptized with the spirit of the Father in the Jordan river; in which lead the Lord Jesus Christ to have shown love, mercy, forgiveness, compassion, joy, peace (this was not the worlds peace but a different peace that comes from Jesus); forbearance, patience, gentleness, kindness, as it says in Galatians 5:22-23.

@amadeus Thank you for sharing a scripture there.

It is important to know the truth about the baptism that comes from above for anyone who is searching and seeking for the truth of God and seeking to worship God in spirit and in truth.

What a privilege it is to be selected from humanity to be baptized with holy spirit. I truly appreciate those individuals, their sacrifice is great indeed.
