I am a full-time caregiver to my elderly, disabled mom. Every day is the same for me in taking care of my mom. And I am 73 years old myself and don't walk well like I used to.
The first thing I think of when getting up is:
"This is the day the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it."
Psalm 118:24
Remembering the above is a good way to start my day.
Also, I always remember the following verse, 1 Thessalonians 5:18:
"in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."
We give thanks in everything, not just when things are all going well for us. Our attitudes in life can make a big difference in our days....how we see life and approach things.
