Netflix released a documentary series on the Cold War, atomic bomb, world Communism, etc. It is called Turning Point: The Bomb and the Cold War.
Their strategy in the first part of the series is to plant the nuclear scare in your mind, again, as today's generation didn't get to experience the atomic bomb scare of the 1950's and 1960's. Then they add a little 'play' by Putin's threat of using nuclear weapons against the U.S. because of the U.S. supporting Ukraine.
And then of course, comes the standard Communist propaganda thrown at you by Leftist sympathizer college historians, some of which no doubt favor Communism, especially with parents like Julius and Ethel Rosenberg who gave up atomic secrets to the Russian Soviets and were executed for it, which was a just response to their spy activities against the United States.
Then of course they begin their false tirade against U.S. Senator Joseph McCarthy who was chairman of the 1950's the House Un-American Activities Committee, a Senate controlled committee with police powers to hunt down Communist subversives in the United States in the 1950s. McCarthy held a Senate hearing to investigate names on a list he and his investigators provided that were suspected of actual Communist activity in the United States. The Communist controlled media got ahold of it and promoted it to the public as a clown show and violation of civil rights.
But the REALITY about what McCarthy's evidence that He showed, is that when the Cold War ended and the Berlin Wall was taken down, many of the classified KGB records were de-classified, and the very names that McCarthy had listed and named were... indeed... connected spies for the Soviets and were actually named in the Venona KGB de-classified documents released in the 1990's!
Thus many U.S. university historians since 1996 have CLEARED Senator Joseph McCarthy's name. They say now that McCarthy was right.
But you can still... depend on today's Communists to continue to push their lies about Joseph McCarthy with their "McCarthyism" tactic. I mean they have to keep telling that lie, otherwise their Communist agents hiding within our U.S. Government like McCarthy said was going on even back in his day, might get them exposed today. And guess how far those lies against McCarthy by today's Communist extend to? Even to Netflix programming like that Turning Point documentary series.
So why... would today's Communists want to use Netflix as a source for their propaganda? Because of what's going on in Ukraine with the Russian invasion and Putin's threatening the U.S. that he will use nuclear weapons against us if we don't stop sending military aid to Ukraine. The Netflix Turning Point series I only see as propaganda 'in favor' of Putin's threat, to try and make Putin's threat more believable... in the minds of the American public.
But I wouldn't pay any more attention to Putin than a sick dog barking in the mud! He is just HOT AIR! He knows that NATO can turn his country into the state of a burnt match if he tries to mess with the West, and if he doesn't yet know it, then God will make sure he does when Russia and its allies come down out of the northern quarters in attempt to destroy Israel and the Western Christian nations.
