Does anyone know a source for a bible without chapter and verse divisions? I found http://www.biblica.com/en-us/the-books-of-the-bible/ <---this (still don't know how to do the typing over my link thing), but I do not have a preference for the NIV. Does anyone know of a source for a KJV or NASB? I would really prefer to have a parallel bible with KJV verse divisions and without on respective sides.

Any ideas?

If this topic shouldn't be in this thread, please move it. Maybe under help? I was not sure.

I wish I could help you with this, because I'd like a copy too. There are times when I want/need to read it without the verse divisions. When that happens about the best I can do is go to on online source, copy and paste it into microsoft word and then edit out the numbers and try to put it in paragraph form. Obviously, that takes a lot of time! But it's the only solution I've come up with.

Do you mean a print bible or an online one ?

Gateway bible will let you set it to eliminate verse numbers etc .... click on "page options"

I meant a print bible, one to carry around with me. I would prefer a parallel.

I am going to be speaking to a printer about it in the coming days. If I find anything out about their willingness to engage, I will let you know

FHII ..... just click options at gateway bible and it automatically does it .... examples below

................................

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
There was a man sent from God whose name was John. He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all might believe. He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light.
The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.

I have actually seen a bible without the chapters and verse numbers .... It may even be in my book collection somewhere ..... it is actually quite a different experience .... your mind becomes very attuned to the context and becomes ever watchful to spot change of context or change of subject.

It is like you have to do your thinking on a higher level .... I found it both revealing and frustrating all at the same time
