President Joe Biden sent a defiant letter to congressional Democrats on Monday morning stating unequivocally: "I am firmly committed to staying in this race." This followed his Friday interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulos, in which he said it would take a literal act of God to force him off the 2024 Democratic presidential ticket.

Democratic power brokers have to ask themselves two questions: (1) If the second debate with Trump (Sept. 10) is equally disastrous for Biden as the last one was, could he recover before Election Day? (2) Can we take the risk that Biden will do significantly better on September 10 than he did last time?

If enough of them answer those questions No, Biden will be forced to quit. My guess is that this will indeed happen before the Democratic Convention gets underway.

Besides that, a Doctor is bound to patient confidentially. I think when it's reported the Doctor said.....
That it isn't to be trusted. Because the Doctor can't say anything.

Remember too,when a president is in an OR undergoing a procedure Secret Service is present there.

Presidents are protected at all costs. Even when a Parkinson's diagnosis would elicit a vote of no confidence among the electorate and DNC.

I wouldn't think so. Given he's 81 it could be a heart attack.

During BHO's term in office SCOTUS Justice Scalia allegedly died of a heart attack while on a vacation of sorts.

His bed was in serious disarray when his body was found.
An on site Doctor determined he'd suffered a heart attack,which cannot actually be diagnosed solely by a visual exam.

Scalia was buried. His wife refused an autopsy.

If Joe wins this election the 2020 Steal was real. Not only that but we may rightly infer we have never elected anyone.

I have to give the Democrats kudos for one thing: I'm not a fan of Joe Biden, but they have sense enough to recognize a loser when they see one and look for other options. The Republicans on the other hand will hold on for dear life, even if their candidate is a convicted felon who has betrayed his country in so many ways.

He's not actually a convicted anything when the trial was illegal.
