Speaker Nancy Pelosi said once that we had to let illegals in because we need slave labor. Paraphrasing her remarks that implied they do the work American citizens don't want to do.
California,her state not surprisingly, is getting weirder and weirder from the government end of things. What's wrong with Governor Newsom?
That's what they did in England, because most of English people are dog lazy. not all but most.
When i left school after grade 10 everyone was saying, do not go to work in manual work ! They were so fearful of such, i mean really fearful of such, they sure as hell did not want to do such !
But i had worked hard from 7yo with my dad Tiling and he worked 7 days a week, and hated anything to do with holidays, so he had work for my elder brother and I all the time !
I laughted at then school kids back then, i thought they were pathetic ! but they were right, if you value your health ? but I thought i would of been dead by 50yo for sure ! but i was only worn out by 50yo. totaly useless to work like i once did.
I would say such a one should only work 4 days a week, if you do hard physical work and only 8hr days and if you are in bad pain stop directly and recover before working the next day etc. and do all of the correct ways with lifting etc. Do not give any regards what others may Think in that regard, for They could not care less about you at all in fact !
People in general do not respect people who work such jobs, many totaly look down their nose on such people in fact ! They love nothing better than to kick such people around if they can get away with it.
But if you work for a big Company with a truly good Union support, then you do not have to be dictated too and kicked about by such evil clowns and that's the way you can make ok money nowadays and have a life. that way you can not loose everything or have to work like a nutcase idiot for crap ! for if anyone tryes to kick you around, shut them down and get the Union deal with them head on ! charged and hit with the extra bill ! I think that's the only way they will learn to treat you with respect. Like do not threaten one to work the week end, just for a Joke ! i do not know how many a time that was played by a builder, no extra money in it, just for kicking you about ego trip of demanding such power over you.
The younger Generation do not bother to hold down as a Tradesmans Job or etc for life nowadays tho, there is just no loyalty any more regardless what it is in fact, them days are long gone ! and employers be it with just one wanting to be learning to drive a Truck say, will not bother to put such people on, they will much likely get people from another Nation who have qualifications.
In recent years I've been hearing it's good for young people to go to trade schools.
Plumbers, electricians, construction workers and others can earn really good income now.

Disneyland for the kiddos, beautiful beaches, a peek at a movie studio, trollies, beautiful cities, a map guide to the mansions of the movie stars….
WOW…now they have skid row and street poop maps fame…
Yet another approach to “so called” effort to legalize cheating.
Not surprised, Not shocked….

There are some nice people here, too. I'm 74 and my neighbors are nice. There's four different ones that I can phone and they help me if needed.
Last week I walked down the street to get food to go. Got weak legs once there and couldn't make it back. Called one of my neighbors and she drove me home. She also picked me up another time when the taxi wouldn't come for me at the market.
Another neighbor calls when she's at the market and gets me a couple of items about twice weekly. I have most of my groceries delivered now.
A teen guy used to drive me to the Target for groceries regularly. He never accepted any money. He would carry my bags upstairs to my apartment, too.
Another man sometimes gives me food from the expensive restaurant he works at. And sometimes picks me up to go food.
My neighborhood is just a business district. But rents are astronomically high. I've been in this apartment a long time so my rent isn't as high as people moving in now. But it's still high.

I didn’t say ALL…excepted “normal” people…rather spoke of the BROAD view of the BROAD “talk, news, highlights”….about California…..
Which results in a broad general reputation…Just as it was a positive DREAM to Vacation Visit was a broad general reputation….so now the broad general reputation has changed to a negative.

the Federal government can decide who gets to vote in federal elections. but the manner and way in which an election is done is up tot he states. Though a noncitizen cannot vote in a federal election, a state may allow them to vcote in state and local elections if they have not passed laws prohibiting it.

Yes it's the same now in Australia for some years, but the Trades are 3rd rate regarding quality nowadays, shocking workmanship and cheap rubbish is used and stupid ways of doing things, but they are not built to last ! it's all about cutting corners and smashing it out as they say.

Plumers and Electricians have always had got good money ! but i have seen a Plumers who worked for one big company who was getting half that of most Plumbers charge, and my mate who was a Builder rejected what i said to him about this Plumber working for that company, for he said his brother worked for that company as a chippy and was making good money. so he rejected what i said to him, demanding every one is making a fortune ! But i would never work for that company my self because their rate for me was a joke. you would have to cut corners like a total moron just to try and make a wage.
We have always had the shoddy workmanship people getting around but now so called Builders have changed a lot, they are criminal intent morons. i would not trust them at all, not believe one word that they said at all ! They lie 24/7
Many years ago my uncle (now deceased) studied welding. He ended up quitting because the supervisor on an actual job kept telling him to hurry up. My uncle was concerned about making a safe weld....but not the supervisor.
