Christians have mindmelded with Jesus and have therefore got him inside their heads as a bouncer to keep any nasties out..
"On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you" (John 14:20)



HOWEVER, that doesn't mean satan won't keep trying to get into our heads, so we should always keep our guard up;
"Don't give the devil a foothold" (Ephesians 4:27)
"Resist the devil and he'll flee from you" (James 4:7)
Heck he even had the gall to try to probe and sift Peter's mind looking for character flaws and weaknesses that he could make flare up-
Jesus said to Peter - "Satan wanted to sift you" (Luke 22:31)

I think a person who believes he is a Christian can be led astray by Satan. I think many are - they become prideful.
