I'd laugh if this were true, Lord I hope so.I get so tired of this anti-fat, anti-salt, anti-cholesterol mantra going on these days. These three things are vital nutrients for the body. Essential fatty acids used to be called "Vitamin F" in the old Rodale books days. Salt is a mineral like magnesium, calcium or Potassium (it's a vital electrolyte) and cholesterol is merely unconverted vitamin D. A little UVB sunlight + cholesterol = healthy cancer-fighting vitamin D. Oh yeah, that's right. We aren't supposed to have sunlight, either.
