You cannot take away the choice of people to be able to react to the Gospel, That's the unforgiveable Sin that applies to your reality, If you don't believe in Jesus, you will die in your sin, and there will be no forgiveness, its unforgiveable, that's the unforgivable sin when you apply it to reality to every person
John 16:9, is NOT the unpardonable sin.
In fact, every sin constitutes as unpardonable sin, BECAUSE "the wages of sin [singular] is death." Yet, Scripture stipulates that all sins are forgiven of men except the passage set forth in Mark 3:28-30.
Do you even know what John 16:9 is really saying?
I wish you both all the happiness in the world. I had a teacher who was born somewhere around the 1st century.of course Bob, she's been my girlfriend for that long
Jesus died for the sins of the world, Paid and finished, it's still not the point of what will not be forgiven
I wish you both all the happiness in the world. I had a teacher who was born somewhere around the 1st century.
WRONG!
Jesus NEVER did die for the sins of the world. This tells me how much you lack knowledge of Scripture! Matthew 1:21 reads:
"And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins."
And how many sins did Jesus pay for their sins, ALL OF THEM! For if He did not pay all but one sin, then that person must pay for that one sin since "the wages of sin [singular] is death!" Besides, what kind of a salvation that will pay all sins but one?
It means that that person will have to pay for that one sin which is impossible for him to do. And guess where he is going?
As I've already stated above, Jesus redeemed the sins of all His people. But pray tell. what do you really think John 16;9 is saying. For me it is NOT what you think it is saying! I do believe, however; that there is a Scripture passage that stipulates that if you believe not in Jesus you will die in your sins, but not John 16:9.
A lady named 1stCenturyLady replied to one of my posts. I asked her if she was really from the 1st century. A gentleman named QuietThinker replied to my post saying, "She's been my girlfriend for that long." I replied to his post by saying, "I wish you both all the happiness in the world. I had a teacher who was born somewhere around the 1st century." Then you replied to my post by saying, "If you are speaking of one of the New Testament writers I'm sorry to say you have learned nothing."If you are speaking of one of the New Testament writers I'm sorry to say you have learned nothing!
Yelling wrong doesn't make you right, Here is Scripture that shows what you said is wrong
1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
You actually contradicted yourself with your next line but that's getting expected, Believing on Jesus Isn't a Sin.... If you Don't Believe in Jesus You will die in your Sins, Jesus Did Pay for all the Sins of the World
One sin is enough to send you to Hell, You pay for your sin if you reject the only sacrifice that was made for your sin, Your skipping what is important
We we live in the Church Age under the gospel of the grace of God, and the requirement for you receiving the payment is to believe that Jesus is the Saviour and that He shed His blood for you and rose from the grave. That offer is open to everyone while they are alive, If you die without believing will not be forgiven In this Life or the Next, It comes back to the unforgivable Sin point you keep ignoring and how it aplies to the reality of every person
No, I was speaking to 1stCenturyLady and QuietThinker. (I'm assuming neither of them is one of the New Testament writers.)
I apologize if you thought I was yelling. Bold words to me is just for emphasis.
Imagine, if Jesus paid for the sins of the whole world, then rightfully, no one can be sent to hell, but we know that hell will heavily be populated.
hat is not quite true that if you Don't Believe in Jesus You will die in your Sins, at least not according to Matthew 12:32 that declares: "Whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him..."
Life without humor would be rather dull.I sure hope not!
We are in the market place [Christian forums] why jest?
What if an unlearned happened to peruse these forums and finds your posts, wouldn't he say these people are not serious? And so you might have lost a potential member?
Can you see what could have happened?
Jesus paid for all men. Not for the elect only. I don't know why you cannot grasp the distinction
If the payment wasn't applied to someone's account its because they did not accept it - BUT - the payment was there.
That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. that covers that,
