Charging my tablet

It seems to be the cable that is the problem. Because when my neighbor gave me an Android cable to try with my charger block that goes into the electric outlet, that worked and charged my tablet...but it took five hours.

My other neighbor said because we have to pull our charging cable out of the tablet alot, that the connection gets loose....then it won't charge. She said I could buy a faster charging cable...but I don't know what to buy.

I emailed Chuwi to ask them. I have a Chuwi Hipad Plus tablet.

I think it is charging slowly because it is a cell phone cable that my neighbor gave me to use.

With the original cable that came with my tablet, my tablet only took three and a half hours to charge. With the cell phone charger it takes five hours.

I'm glad you mentioned that USB-c connection....I don't know about these things.

Chuwi hopefully will email me soon about the problem.

@talons Do you have any suggestions? Can I buy any cable to replace my worn out cable for my Chuwi Hipad Plus tablet? (Old cable won't charge tablet anymore. But another cable a neighbor gave me charges it...but it takes five hours to charge.

Is the diameter of the cable from your neighbor smaller than your original cable ? Does the cable you are using now get warmer than the old one did ?

Thanks for responding. I finally found a cable that fits my Chuwi Hipad Plus tablet...at Amazon. Comes in two weeks.

Cell phone cable is the same size as my old cable. It doesn't get as hot as my old cable.

Going to plug it in now. Thanks, will read article later.

I finally got my new charger cord yesterday. It works fine with my old charger block thank God....three and a half hours to charge which is normal for my tablet. Will give the cell phone cord back to my neighbor now.
