The problem is that most people have looked at Romans 10 & 11 - those who support Replacement Theology (Supersessionism) and those who support Dual Covenant Theology (Dispensationalism) - and have come to different conclusions.
I think that Biblical prophecy and historical events combine to show that God is doing a work in Israel today.

At present God is moving the chest pieces on the board and when the Kings of the earth are judged at Armageddon as Paul foretells us in Romans 11:25b-26, then God will begin gathering Israel to Himself and will plant them in His fertile soil, where they are living scattered throughout the whole earth, and He will teach them on the religion of Israel based upon the foundation stone that will come down out of heaven during the time of these kings.
When do I think that this will happen? After 96 years have passed since the fig tree began budded new leaves. Around the year 2044/2045 AD.
As God told Jacob: -
His descendants will be fulfilling their calling from the beginning of time to bring in the Harvest.

They will not inherit Heaven unless they accept their true Messiah, Jesus Christ. He is the door to the sheepfold. There is no other way to the Father but through Him.
So would you say that the "sheepfold" is heaven?
And would you say that coming to the Father means going to heaven?
You don't think it is possible that Jesus was talking about coming into a personal faith relationship with God in our Christian life?
From what I understand In Israel, approximately 23% to 24% of the Jewish population is strictly religious (Orthodox).
When it comes to Jews you have the Orthodox Jews mentioned above.
You also have the Kabbalah Jews
Then there is the Zionist Jews.
The Messianic Jews
The Essenes Jews
The Talmud Jews
Noahide law Jews
Synagogue of Satan Jews...Rev 2:9 those who say that they are Jews and are not.
Civilian Jews
Genetic Jews.
.....and so on.
As to the question will the Jews inherit heaven? No. Unless they are "Messianic Jews" that Know Jesus as their Lord and Savior they will die and go to hell. Just like the rest of the world.
Are they God chosen people? Yes, in the biblical fact they were chosen to be the blood line of Jesus.
Were the Jews given what has been called the promise land? That is...18 On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, “To your offspring I give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the river Euphrates, 19 the land of the Kenites, the Kenizzites, the Kadmonites, 20 the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Rephaim, 21 the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites and the Jebusites.”.......Yes,.... and some day in the near future it will be restored to them. My guess is the "them" are the 144,000 mentioned in Rev 14.
The restoration of Israel began in 1948.
Did the Christians replace the Jews in God plan? Nope.
Does God have specific future plans for the nation of Israel? Yup. The time of Jacobs trouble (7 year tribulation) will be for restoring the Jews and judging the people of the earth.
Is the Church the replacement for Israel and the many promises made to Israel in the Bible? Nope
Not all "Christians" will inherit heaven either.
to clarify, I was more referring to a Biblical definition of Jew and Christians (follower of Christ Jesus).
I hate to see Christians turn their back on Israel and Jews as if they were the anti-christ.
You deceive yourself if you believe anyone can gain access to the Fathe without going through JESUS CHRIST. How are you a Christian without acknowledging Christ as your Savior? It's not possible.

"Today" all who are chosen are chosen and God's people. Everyone has their day, "but each one in his own order."
As for today in the history of the world, Jesus came for the house of Israel and "It is finished." As Paul said, they have preceded us, the greater body of the Church of these times of the Gentiles.
All who are chosen of God inherit heaven.
If you read Romans 10 & 11, you will see that the Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved.
They will repent and receive Jesus before His judgement.
Revelation 15 states that their will be singing of the Song of Moses and the Song of the Lamb
Rev 7- 144K is from the tribes of Israel
Rev 21- New Jerusalem gates are name for12 tribes of Israel and 12 foundations named for the 12 apostles- both Jew and Gentile that of course received Christ Jesus
If you are a blood bought Christian...born again....made alive in Christ...quickened...you will inherit heaven.
I do understand some who call themselves christians are in name only...pew warmers.

So do I....As christians we should support Israel.
BUT
As Christians I don't think christians should support sending money and missiles to Netanyahu and his IDF to indiscriminately bomb Christians in Gaza and Lebanon to smithereens. I don't see this as being sanctioned by God. Do you see the destruction of Christians living in Gaza or Lebanon as being sanctified by God?

Supporting Israel and supporting certain people in power are 2 different things. This is not the debate. There are many in authority and they come and go. I am speaking to the foundation/principles/morals/beliefs of a sect of people.
I can not say that I am knowledge of all that is happening over there but there is has been a war of the Promised Land. Islam is evil and our enemy. I believe that if the enemy is attacking leaders have a right and obligation to protect its people.
Satan is uniting nations to come against Jews and Christians. There purpose is to kill us therefore, it is either us or them.

Did you read what I wrote and see how I referenced Rom 10 & 11. Jews will be brought back to receive Christ Jesus.
Of course not all will, but God has this already decided. He will have mercy on whom He has mercy and will have compassion on whom He has compassion. It is clear, God will unite the Jew as His firstborn and the Gentile as His second. God made a promise to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Moses, ...
The Israelites (Jews/Hebrews) are enemies as far as the gospel but per God's election they are loved and God's gifts and call are irrevocable. They believe in YHVH and believe in a Christ to come, so when God removes the blinders and reveals Jesus to them, if they will repent and accept Jesus of Nazareth as The Christ and they will be saved.
The invitation is to all. Even in Exodus, God gave warning and instructions on how to escape some of the plagues, anyone who obeyed was saved.
all through-out history, God chooses who He choose not be merit but by His grace.

that is one verse taken out of context, continue reading and pay attention to Romans 11:25-32.
OK...I don't disagree.
I see the current Israel government as the synagogue of satanic.
I see the jews trying to rebuild the Temple....which will not be sanctioned by God for worship...so to speak.
There are at times wolves in sheep clothing.
I don't agree with building of a temple either. and I don't like the majority of the churches in America as they are entertainment and numbers focused and no true teaching or discipleship training.
I don't know His plan, so maybe the temple has to be built and He will tear it down and Jesus will be seen. Peter didn't want Jesus to die, but He had to so that He could ransom us, glorify The Father, and defeat sin. This is why we pray God Your will be done. I know God is not surprised for He knows ALL THINGS therefore, my trust is in Him.
