14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. - Hebrews 4:14-15.
Your hardest day on this earth is felt by your high priest that suffered every emotion you can suffer. To the point of sweating blood. Nothing a believer can go through and that feeling has already been experienced by Christ Who is in you. That has to have a feeling of comfort to know Christ felt and still feels what you suffer. We have to look at suffering from the stand point of his feelings are touched by our feelings. None wants to be alone when they suffer. Why is it the old cliche is "misery loves company.' we don't want to feel like we are alone in the deepest darkest moments of life.
And we aren't alone - it may feel like it but the high priest of your profession is there in it to go through it with you in every situation in life, good and bad and to be the deliverer of those that have obtained a greater profession by the high priest of our profession.
We hear all the slurs about faith and grace - it's greasy - it is lived like a heathen - hyper faith - absolutely no understanding of scripture. You might as well tear this out of your bible the ignorance is so rampant to what Jesus has and is doing in believers. We believe our own ignorance and become fool's in proclaiming other than what is written.
They that have obtained grace and mercy can live according to the word of God, and there are those that do not like it because you don't need them to live. Religion and the religious mind is dependent on you needing them. Sounds like alot of governments today who have a need to control. If you carry on in this world with it's government's you to get caught by ignorance, come out from among her and sound and look like you have something to say to a lost world not just slam everything that comes down the pike - by ye separate.
It is ignorant to say the world is full of sinners and the government's are full of corruption. There is no depth of understanding in that - it doesn't even need to be said all you have to do is look. Scripture says don't even talk or think about what is done in private because no good thing will come out of it. There is no revelation in that -wake up. It is confused believers that have nothing to say nothing to offer and they become the trols thinking they do God a service.sybe they didn't get a hug or was ever told they were loved. I don't make light of it because that is what many have suffered but we have no excuse now we are believers - stop with the pity parties and get healed. You may need to talk and have deep scares but that cannot out do what is written. What is written is absolute and forever - feelings and pain and our scares are temporary. Hallelujah to the lamb!
Listen when a believer decides to follow on to know the Lord they can be ridiculed by other's because of their faith and grace they have obtained and learned to live by. They have learned, taught by the Spirit (revelation) - it's not by might it's not by power but by my Spirit saith the Lord of hosts.
11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. - Hebrews 9:11-12.
25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
27 Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.
28 For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore. - Hebrews 7:25-28.
