Just wondering with all the apostacy in the churches of today, is anyone else hearing this? I am in Cleveland Tn. and would love to start a Bible study group and possily plant a new church if God sees fit to allow it. Anyone local can contact me [link removed] even if you arent local i would like to hear your thoughts on this.

According to Bible Prophecy, a woman is a church.
Jeremiah 6:2 I have likened the daughter of Zion to a comely and delicate woman.
2 Corinthians 11:2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
So the mother of harlots, and her daughters, is an apostate church, the mother of all apostate churches, and her daughters are the harlots. The call to come out of Babylon does not only apply to the mother, but also applies to her daughters as well. She is a hold of every foul spirit, a cage of every unclean and hateful bird, the habitation of devils! She is the great whore -- and her daughters are not clean, but harlots themselves. Certainly, it would be important to know who this very whore is, and who her daughters are -- for by remaining in these churches, we become a partakers of their sins, and we become a receiver of her plagues. None who receive her plagues can at that point be saved. The plagues are the judgments of God, falling unrepentant souls.
Revelation 16:9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
Revelation 16:11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.
Revelation 16:21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.
It's interesting, these unrepentant souls know exactly whom is judging them. Yet, instead of repenting, they curse God and His Holy Name. This is an awful situation to be in, and yet, one has to wonder -- what would bring Christians to do this? Why would Christians blaspheme the name of God? Why would they repent not?
These Christians were not obedient to God. The Bible tells them to come out of fallen churches, and forcibly illustrates that these churches are habitations of devils. These churches do not have Christ in their midst. These churches profess Christ, but their very deeds and doctrine (doctrine IS important) say otherwise.
To avoid becoming like these Christians, we ought to take heed to what the Bible says. We should examine ourselves to see whether we be in the faith. We should examine the churches we are in, to see if we are within the Mother of Harlots, one of the fallen harlots, one of her daughters. God is calling HIS people out of these churches -- which means that it is an absolute FACT that there are people of His that are NOT in HIS Church, but a church of devils. We ought to take heed, and contemplate the church we are in. Hold your pastors, friends, and churches, and yes, even yourself, up to the standard of the Bible. The Bible says plainly:
Isaiah 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
How do we know the truth? The same way it was evidenced a little in this post. We search the Scriptures. We must go line upon line, knowing the context. We must go here a little, and there a little, searching the Scriptures, and reading different sections of the Scriptures for the truth. We must go precept, upon precept, using the guiding Bible principles, and absolute Bible truths.

Why start a new church? Do you think it is going to remain pure this time? I really do not get this compulsion to start new churches - how many churches do we need? I used an analogy months ago, which applies hear. "Hey our food is being genetically modified - it is killing us! What are we going to do?!?!?! Wait, I know the answer! Let's have a picnic!" Changing the setting does not address the problem.
Yes, you are right..Revelation spells it out very clearly...The harlot, is depicted as riding a beast with 7 heads and ten horns..and 18 goes on to say the seven heads are the seven hills on which the harlot sits..sounds like Rome, as that is the city of seven hills...the harlot is adorned in jewellery and scarlet and purple..check the colours of the Roman church officials..scarlet and purple..the daughters, are no doubt the protestant religions w
ho broke away from Rome, but are still following most of Rome's doctrines without the statues etc...
Read the book of Daniel, he prophesied an end time religion, and describes this perfectly in his prophesies..Daniel 2 and 7 in particular..he says "they will think to change God's times and laws"..which they did..changed God's Holy 7th day each week to the 1st day of the week, was the big one where they go against God and His Holy Commandments..They continue to pervert God's laws, and the Gospel of peace which Jesus taught and implemented..is it any wonder there is so much violence and lawlessness in the world today?
Virtually no one studies or even reads the Bible any more. Yet children are being nailed alive to trees in Uganda, for simply worshipping outside the gov't' approved party line. The Holy Bible is bathed in the blood of others. And we can't even get it right as to which Bible is the genuine word of God.
The non-State approved body of believers in China meets at random and varied locations, as they pray and the Lord directs them, moving in the One True God under penalty of State sponsored death. One thing is certain: a persecuted church is a powerful church.
Maybe the church the OP is talking about, is something other than the government model. Prayer should always be our first response.
