16 that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; - Ephesians 3:16-18.

The inner man: Christ dwells in your heart by faith. He became the only life of the believer the moment they believed and we don't know it. How does my faith work: believe what is written!

It is not going to be my faith that keeps Jesus Christ in the heart - he is there and I need to believe he is there in my heart as scripture says.. being who he is - life. My life - my only life, the only life any believer has. You have no other life - granted it is designed for the twain to be one. So you have two.. that have become one.. and one in life and living, and expression. Christianity is one of the most easily followed religions (for lack of better words) in the world.. when you understand it. Without the understanding of Christianity all you have is another religion (men trying to do something on their own) to please God. Look at some religions, you have all kinds of requirements and rituals to follow and be inducted into it.

Not Christianity - you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and can become a Christian the moment you believe. Now with that will come some required growth to understand what it means to be a Christian, and until we understand what that means, we stay under what scripture describes as Tutors and Governors (circumstances and situations), which are our teachers in the Father's schoolhouse! You have a father now who knows how to be a father to you, so you will want to learn.

2 but is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father. - Galatians 4:2.

It is one of the hardest things a person can endure - being a Christian without understanding what a Christian is. They will be 'among men most miserable.' It is not a good life..it is foreign to who you are. If Christ is in you as your only life - the father is going to want you to know something about that - especially since it is everything Christianity is. We are not going to just simply glean over that subject and the father take us on to a new subject - things may ease up in and around us but the father's main focus is you seeing Christ in you as your life.

19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. - 1 Corinthians 15:19.

That is the push of scripture - scripture is pushing toward our understanding of Christ as life today more than any other time I have looked at scripture and listened to what others are saying. Men and women all over the world are letting it be known that Christ is the life of the believer. The only way for a believer to know what that means is to start saying it..it has to happen to you before you know what it means. Preachers can preach until eye balls fall out but it must be you that hears the Spirit of the message and what the Spirit is saying to the church! Let me say it this way; it usually comes through someone that may not be in the ministry those that have no distractions those that sit and listen those that look and read and study and pray and give themselves the time to hear from the Spirit. Point is it is not always our preachers that a message comes through.

Man has had his day - this is the day of the Lord. It is the Lord that opens and closes hearts - it is the Lord that keeps the pressure on, that we come to hear what it is the Spirit would say to the church. The end will come and it will come just like it is prophesied - that is written. There is written in scripture life that has to be seen..a life that is apprehended..a comprehended life beyond any life.. it is the life of God - Christ in you the hope of glory!

Soulman,

Some of my thoughts.

For those who are seekers of the truth will find, and those who are seekers of God will be rewarded. For without faith even so being. It is impossible to please God. The life that now lives in and through the believer is not only the holy spirit but also the spirit of Christ.

The life we now experience is the new eternal life that is from God in which we receive through Gods grace through faith in the death, burial, and resurrection, of Christ Jesus. (That new creation inwardly that has to deal with God working on the heart and mind of the individual as they freely allow him to do so.)

To the individual themselves it up to them if they desire to grow they can read the bible, and it will help a lot in a persons life as they grow in knowledge of God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

People can hear the word of God and that does help increase faith when they hear about the Lord. However it is again up to individual if they desire to follow after Christ, to go in and learn about God and the Lord Jesus Christ, in my opinion it is the best option one has to have grace, and peace enter into their heart.

It is a complex transformation of our spiritual growth because we grow as we are walking in truth and we remain stuck when we refuse to obey all it says to do.

Hello @Heart2Soul

From my experience when becoming a new Christian in 2016. I kept hearing people talk to me about God and Jesus, and inside of me there was understanding that a dark void is still in my heart and the only one that will seem to help is this God and the Lord Jesus person.

Decided to seek for him because the understanding of nothing will change if I do not was set in my heart.

A desire came to me that I need to learn about who this Jesus character is, so I went and sought.

During my transition there was drug usage, porn usage yet still seeking of God and the Lord Jesus Christ, by reading the word of God and praying, but over all I was still a babe in Christ.

Over the past several years including being taught lessons about the bible that were being presented by the bible my over all lifestyle has changed dramatically since nearly 6 years ago now.

How would you explain this complex process to a young adult, or child?

You don't....it is between them and God.
Line upon line, precept upon precept...
The Holy Spirit is guiding them into all truth
Some plant, others water but it is God who gives the increase.
Everyone grows at their own pace.

My advice would be for them to read the word of God, but not many people may really like that idea. It is the only way to have peace, and grace in your life by walking with God and the Lord Jesus Christ. Having them to be washed in the word.

Some people find the bible intimidating, that is why Soulman; also mentioned how we are taught by others, however once you learn the basics you move forward in seeking, and the bible is there for us to.

Thank you for your comment.

@Heart2Soul It's a great study in John's Gospel seeing Father, Son and Holy Spirit all present in the unfolding of the revelation of truth, right? :)
