Trials do come hard at times when you turn to Christ.
I came to Christ 36 years ago at the age of 13. I was the only person in my household serving Christ and there was much evil in my home. I remember going to church and testifying that I was thankful for the trials because they brought me closer to Christ. But to this day, what I remember more powerfully is God's amazing love and presence in my life in the midst of those trials.
The closer you draw to Him, the more you'll be able to endure testing. Stay in the Word, delight yourself in the Lord ....run to Him when things get rough. He's your shelter, your refuge, your hiding place.
Psalm 61:2-4
[2]From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
[3]For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.
[4]I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah.
Proverbs 18:10
[10]The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
Maybe we can share encouraging scripture here to help you along. Hide the Word in your heart. It's the sword of the spirit. :)
1 Peter 1:7-9
[7]That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
[8]Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
[9]Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
1 Peter 4:12-13
[12]Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
[13]But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
