Are you happy & full of joy believing that you will never see your departed loved ones again ?
I'm happy knowing that I'm being true to myself.
I would love more than anything to see my sister again. But not in your twisted and horrible scenario.

I'm asking you if you could be filled with joy, knowing that good people will perish.
I really miss my sister, I loved her, I spent my childhood with her.
If you're saying that you could spend an eternity in bliss without a thought for good people who didn't make it... That would make you a mindless monster.
If you're saying you'd be spending eternity thinking about those people... That'd be torturous.
I don't believe in an afterlife, I believe that once your brain dies, that's it.
I don't believe that we have a soul, I don't believe that there is anything spiritual going on.
I've seen no convincing evidence that human beings are special. We think... So what? We over think.
Does your afterlife belief give you joy that you will no longer see deceased loved ones again ?

I've said over and over that my worldview offers nothing.
Your worldview may give you joy, hope or whatever... That doesn't make it true.
Have you even considered what this afterlife that you're so excited about actually entails?
You see your loved ones on day one... You see your loved ones on day 1000. You see your loved ones on day 100000000000000000.
Your 'worldview' gives you :-
no hope of ever seeing deceased loved ones again
no joy since you believe you will never see deceased loved ones again
as your last breath approaches you have NOTHING to look forward to
My 'worldview' fills me with eternal hope joy & happiness
Yours gives you nothing except for what you can do while you can

I don't understand how anyone who has a sense of morality can buy into this... It's wrong on so many levels.
If you're going off the OT for your moral compass, there's something seriously wrong with you. If you are disregarding the OT and following Jesus' word then I can half understand.
Unfortunately you can't separate the two... The NT doesn't work without the OT.

You mean the ones like you who are given the choice to accept Christ yet give Him the f/o finger then sulk & whinge because they've woken up in eternity somewhere they were warned of while alive ?

How do you come to that conclusion? The central message from God stated many times in numerous ways is obey his commands and you will be blessed. The alternative is obviously to be cursed.
