Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12

Lord God, we thank you for giving us light here on earth, where it is so often completely dark. But in the darkness the name of Jesus Christ shines out as the prophetic Word: “Be comforted. After darkness comes light, after night comes day!” We thank you for this light. In joy we thank you, for we have experienced that Jesus lives and comes to meet each one, bringing victory over enemy powers. In the name of Jesus Christ and in his name alone we ask you to remember the needs of our time. We do not want anything that comes from ourselves. We do not want any earthly peace. We want your peace, Lord God, the peace in which everything becomes new, born anew even in suffering, to the eternal glory of your name. Amen.

Lord our God, we thank you with all our hearts that Jesus Christ still lives today and that we may believe in him and call upon him as our Savior. We thank you for him who sees to the depths of our human misery and calls right into the midst of it, “Do not be afraid. I am with you. I live. I am your helper. No matter how insignificant you are, fear not, for I, Jesus Christ, shine into all the darkness, even into the darkness of sin and death, into all the judgment that has fallen or is still to come upon everyone on Earth.” Praise to your name, Lord our God! You are great and almighty and beyond our understanding. But you have sent us the Savior whom we can understand, and we rejoice that we may have community with him in your presence. Amen.

Lord our God, help us in these days that are so difficult for us. Help us never to lose our expectation of the time that is to come, the time of Jesus Christ, Lord of heaven and earth. Strengthen us, we pray, and strengthen those all over the world who have to endure great suffering, especially the destitute and the dying. May your heavenly hosts come down to the many who are in misery, so that your name is praised in life and in death, in whatever we have to go through. For we shall praise you, no matter what happens now or in the days ahead. May your glory remain in our hearts, with the joy that you, O God, are the Father of all. Amen.

i would add one dire important thing too this
THAT many be praying for the LORD to send true ones into the harvest , to be preaching the absolute dire need
to beleive on JESUS the CHRIST and to get the people into the bible to learn for themselves .

We need to understand what you believe......you are to general in condemnation and what you think the preaching aught to be.....learn for themselves.....that is how we got over 30,000 Protestant denominations and millions of different beliefs. Say what you think it should be.

It means we been lied too my friend . And they were very clever in how they did it .
They used bad seeds as the example . Used men that knew some scrips , JUST NOT THE TRUTH of said scrips ,
in order to say SEE , THIS IS WHY one cannot simply learn the bible for themselves
cause it caused all these denominations .
NO it DIDNT . MEN DID That .
I read the bible with others and NONE OF US do such a thing . I aint out trying to create some other denomination
IF we would read the bible daily for ourselves , YOU WOULD BE SHOCKED
at how easy it would have been to have learned and even come to the right agreement .
The problem is at most people only know about enough bible , AND WHAT THEIR LEADERS TAUGHT ABOUT IT ,
to make them only a danger to the actual body of CHRIST and unto themselves .
IT seems the BIBLE is about the only book that christain leaders
sure can convince its peoples IS NOT SAFE TO READ for themselves , WITHOUT their so called helps .
THAT IS NAUGHT BUTPOWER AND CONTROL . and sadly many have loved to have it so .
I AM calling for all , FOR ALL who name the name of JESUS
to do one simple thing . GET IN THE BIBLE and enjoy it for their own selves .
Most folks can find TIME for their beloved FOOTBALL , TV , WORDLY JUNK
but then at most go to church once or twice a week
and sit their lazy selves down and let pastors decieve them . LOVE dont work like that .
HAD people had the LOVE OF GOD within them , THEY HAD LOVED HIS WORDS TOO . THEY HAD SPENT
TIME focused ON HIM , on reading , on prayer and etc . WE both know DEEP DOWN
that people DONT MAKE THE TIME FOR GOD , only a time , and yet most their time be spent
CHASING WORLDY DREAMS , HOPING in men and presidents , NOT IN GOD , NOT IN CHRIST .
and its why they are being DECIEVED they love to have this deception , they loved a lie .

YES HE CAN and YES HE DO .
HE is able to save TO THE UTTERMOST those who darw near to GOD through HIM .
yet we got us a problem . Many are not drawing nigh to GOD at all , because through another version of JESUS
they are being led astray into greater darkness .
THIS might seem like its not possible , BUT FRIEND ITS BIG TIME possible and is being done right now .
HOW many who honor the wrong rainbow BELIEVE THEY FOLLOW JESUS AND DO DRAW NIGH TO GOD
and HIS LOVE . HOW MANY seem to honor sins and even unbelief and YET believe they follow JESUS and are drawing nigh to GOD .
THERE IS A HUGE REASON i brought this up . AND IT REALLY IS BIBLE TIME again . too many
are following a man produced image of what THEY THINK IS JESUS , IS GOD and IT AINT friend . IT AINT at all .
satan is naught but a deciever . THIS i say is not to codemen anyone , its out of great love
for their souls that i must remind us .

Dear Christ or Lord our God, help us in these days that are so difficult for us. Help us never to lose our joyous expectation of the time that is to come, the time of Your return. Strengthen us, we pray, and strengthen those all over the world who have to endure suffering. We pray for the elderly and the ill that they be comforted and that they know that there are those close by that care. Help us help those that need help and fellowship. Glad tidings to all that love and have faith in You. For we shall praise You, no matter what happens now or in the days ahead. May Your glory shine and remain in our hearts, with the joy that You have given us our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:16

To our Savior and God Sacred be Your name. You show us the Way of life, the Way to Salvation, the Way to Heaven. In your presence is fullness of joy, and at your right hand is delight forever. In your presence we to rejoice together in a new relationship with God the Father….the veil was torn. Now children in the family of God.

May we be confident in Your love in every part of our life. We look forward to Your glorious return and rejoice in our living Savior. Faith is our connection to You and or claim to the Way. Amen

Lord our God, we look to you in our many needs, in the distress of our hearts, those suffering in the whole world, but especially or loved ones heal and protect. We beseech you, let Your light come to your people everywhere on earth to bring them your help and your victory. Let your living strength come to them so that they can bear their sufferings and hold out joyfully to the end. Remember us all, O Lord our God, for we all need you. We are weak and poor and cannot go forward alone. May the Savior come to us, and may his grace and his power be born in our hearts. Amen.

Dear Father in heaven, we lift our eyes to you. You allow earthly events to follow their own course, and even your own Son had to suffer and die. But your plan is already prepared and you will act in our time according to your will. We pray, “Your will be done, your will!” In the midst of all the suffering let your love be revealed in many places, wherever it is possible for people to understand it. You have always protected us; protect us still. You have done much for us and we want to praise your name. We want to be people who always acknowledge you and praise you, for you will never let any be lost who hope in you. Be with us this night, help us, and send us the strength we need to serve you, also in our everyday life. Amen.

Lord our God, we seek your light and pray that you shed your light upon us so that we live not only on earth but in you, the eternal and living One. May our lives be drawn into eternity, to the praise of your name, O Father. May we take your Word to heart so that we can become true men and women, able to bear everything in your name and to remain in the love you want to give us. Rouse us to become true men and women at the side of Jesus Christ our Savior, who has been patient in all things with all people. Be with us at all times, Lord our God. You are our help and our refuge. Amen.

Lord our God, we look to you and to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Continually renew your grace and your power in our lives, we pray. Renew your grace and power, that we may have light even in dark and distressing times and through the Savior may overcome as we wait faithfully for your kingdom. Help us to be ready to take anything upon ourselves, to serve you with body and soul, with all we have and are. May we belong to the hosts of those who go to meet you, who wait for your coming kingdom, which will bring comfort to the world and to all people who now suffer and grieve. O Lord our God, have mercy on our times and on our world. Grant that with thanks and praise we may soon see the signs of the fulfillment of your promises. Amen.

Our dear Lord and Savior, we thank you with all our hearts because we know you are holding us by your hand and leading us on all our ways, in spite of all contradiction, strife, distress, and confusion within ourselves. What are all these compared to your love, which does not let us go but watches over us and finally brings us to what is good? Release us from our many burdens. Free our spirits and our souls more and more until we can do nothing but give praise and thanks with heart, soul, and strength for all you are to us. Amen.

Lord, our God and Father, we thank you that in all the misery and night on earth you have let your hope dawn as a light shining for all your people - all who honor your name, all who dwell in Jesus Christ through forgiveness of sins and through resurrection to a new life. Praise to your name. Praise to Jesus Christ. Praise to the Holy Spirit, who can comfort, teach, and guide our hearts. O Father in heaven, we can never thank you enough that we are allowed to be a people full of grace, full of hope, and full of confidence that your kingdom is coming at last to bring salvation and peace for the whole world.
