Continuation:

Da 7:21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;
Da 7:22 Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.
Da 7:23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.
Da 7:24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.
Da 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
Da 7:26 But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.
Da 7:27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.
Da 7:28 Hitherto is the end of the matter. As for me Daniel, my cogitations much troubled me, and my countenance changed in me: but I kept the matter in my heart.

The spiritual battle that ensues upon the earth between the forces of good and evil seems to end in victory through the ten horns that come from the little horn as all manner of evil prevails against the saints of God. Until the time comes for the final GWTJ when the saints of God shall possess the everlasting Kingdom of God upon the new earth.

I already agree that it is experienced in the here and now spiritually and through faith rather than by sight. But how does that resolve Daniel 7:22 in light of Daniel 21, that the former puts an end to the war once and for all before the millennium can begin? The war in verse 21 is still ongoing or is yet to happen. One thing it is not, that it is behind us and finished entirely. The until in verse 22 makes zero sense of verse 21 unless it accomplishes at that time, meaning when the coming occurs, ending the war in verse 21 permanently.

Da 7:21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;
Da 7:22 Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.

The kingdom the saints of the most High received is the spiritual Kingdom of God in heaven that is eternal and will not be found upon this earth but will come down from heaven after this first heavens and earth are gone. They died in faith believing the promise of Messiah who was to come. Dying before the advent of Christ they could not inherit the Kingdom of God in heaven until Christ came to atone for sin and defeat death. That's why they are said to be "under the altar" through promise of God to save them.

The war between the forces of good and evil ended only for the saints of Old, who died in faith waiting for Messiah to come to rescue them. The battle for those of Old ended, but the battle that would ensue with the advent of Christ would then begin and would not end until the spiritual Kingdom of God in heaven is complete; the last Gentile to be born again entering into the spiritual Kingdom of God in heaven.

John 5:22--Jesus plainly states---For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son.

My counter argument is that the Ancient of Days in Dan 7:9-11 is judging the spirit of power that uses mankind to accomplish evil. IOW judgment made against the beast. But in Dan 7:21-22 there is no mention of a fiery judgment throne with the little horn being judged. Dan writes only that the Ancient of days came and gave judgment to the saints, that the time came for them to possess the Kingdom. The two accounts of God judging are separated by time that John in Rev 20 symbolized as a/the thousand years. The judgment against the beast, paved the way for the gate of the Kingdom of God in heaven to be opened for whosoever among mankind would be born again.

Da 7:9 ¶ I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.
Da 7:10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.
Da 7:11 I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.

Da 7:21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;
Da 7:22 Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.
