Daniel's (Little Horn)

This "Future" figure will be present on earth to see the (Second Coming) of Jesus Christ and (Final Judgement), as this figure will be slain by Jesus Christ and cast into the lake of fire (Future) unfulfilled

"Future" (Second Coming, Final Judgement) Below

Daniel 7:8-11KJV
8 I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.
9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.
10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.
11 I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.

This "Future" figure will be present on earth making (Abomination & Desolation) to the (Consummation) or (The Ultimate End) "Future" Event(s) Unfulfilled

Merriam-Webster
Definition of consummation

1: the act of consummating the consummation of a contract by mutual signature specifically : the consummating of a marriage
2: the ultimate end

Daniel 9:27KJV
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

I disagree!
It was prophesied in Daniel, and is shown to be fulfilled in 1 Maccabees 1, by Antiochus Epiphanes lV.

Jesus pointed to it as being that past event, but used it as type and antitype to Himself, thus revealing that "the Temple of His body (His flesh)", was going to endure desolation and destuction, being an Abominition in the eyes of God the Father, of His only begotten son, as the ultimate Sacrifice for the sins of the world. Hence:
" the Lamb OF God".
In Daniel, one should learn to understand how the 1290 days and the 1335 days work together historically (1 Maccabees), bringing a blessing of restoration to those who waiteth, and come to the END of the 45 days.
Clue #1 is: The days of Pentecost.
Clue #2 is: the book of Daniel was to the Jews, as the book of Revelation is to us Christians.

We strongly disagree, Antiochus Epiphanies 167BC couldn't fulfill Daniel 9:27 below, the figure seen will be present on earth to see the "Consummation" (The Ultimate End) a future event unfulfilled

According to Daniel, you have messed up big time. There are ONLY FOUR beasts that shall come upon the earth.
In symbolisim of the image of a great statue, seen in the dream of Nebuchadnezzar, those empires to come, were shown to be the body appendages of that statue.
In their descriptions of different metals and mixes, can you name the world ruling EMPIRES as being "fleshed out" in their manifestations on the earth among men?
See Daniel 2:31-45
As for the details of them, the angel Gabriel gives Daniel the understanding of what they will be like among men, in the symbolism of animals/beasts. Daniel 7:6-14.
Although you have read these scriptures, it is apparent to me that you do not comprehend that "horns" and "heads" ARE APPENDAGES ON or of a Beast.
Let me be blunt here: Do the disconnected individual appendages of body parts fully describe what the animal is? No, of couse not.
However, by more detailed information that comes to be, or is manifested, it's symbolic representation becomes more visible.
Fot that which you thought was a Dog, is really a Lion. Or for another, you thought it to be a Pig, but it was really a Ram.
So also is the depiction of the metals in the Statue. As time progressed, each successive empire became lesser in quality, right down to the feet and toes of that symbolic statue.

Now, since the 4th Beast of the Roman Empire never ended, but SPLIT into two empires, how is such a situation shown, using the statue of Daniel?

If then the Roman Empire split in two, and is still with us today in a different form, how do we see it's manifestation, in it's EVOLVED state of being?
The three stages of the Roman Empire are:
1. A Military Empire
2. A Religious Empire
3. A Financial Empire

Here is your nightmare of fantasy from "church-ianity" turned on it's head, that is if you can dare to think about it!!

1. In KJV Daniel 9-27, which "he" is the "cause" of ALL the events prophesied of?
Your clue:
the word "determined" is found in two verses, the beginning of 24, and the latter of 27.
2. What was "determined" ?
3. Who performed and "finished" that which was determined?

You have your answer, if it is revealed to you!

That's ok. Evidently, His truth has not yet been revealed to you. Usually it's due to carrying the excess baggage of many false doctrines of "church-ianity".
I understand!
Im not involved in churchanity as you claim, the good ole King James Bible and the Holy Spirit

Amen! It's important that Christians do not fall victim to becoming a solidified state, like the "religions" they attend or become members of.
To remain open minded defeats the will to be pharasaical, and as a result one is fluid, remaining pliable, ready and willing for the Lord to change one's direction of thoughts.

Every day forward is a new day of incremental prophetic manifestation(s). Like the links in a chain, being forged out the fire, each event is assembled, marching towards the end of all prophecy, being that Day when He appears in all His Glory from Heaven, in flaming fire.

I sure wish I could help you old boys out with this.

I can't really figure out what you think the AofD is, or will be, by reading your note.

Maybe you think it's a future Antichrist that goes into a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem and sets up a statue of himself, wearing a polyester leisure suit like Bobby De Niro from the Hal Lindsey days, and says worship it. What? "You heard me, worship it!

It just sounds like you're saying it wasn't the DofJ, because it has to be tied to the "consummation", therefore it must be in the future at the end of days.

It just sounds like you're debating with the Amils and Historicists and Preterists.

Your note is showing Daniel 8 and 9 to explain the AofD.

The problem is, Daniel 8, 9, and even 11:31, is not the Abomination of Desolation spoken of by the Prophet Daniel that Jesus was talking about in the OD.

Jesus was talking about Daniel 12.

Me and a couple other guys figured out the AofD in a forum thread right while it was happening. It was the most exciting time I've ever spent on a thread. But it was also spooky because it was not something from the past, it was not in the future anymore, it's something happening right now. We are in the days of the Abomination. The 1290 days are the litmus test. (Let The Reader Understand). The 1290 days are the empirical. The 1290 days are the measuring rod that allows the rest of the story to be reverse engineered. The listeners in the first century, and the early church fathers, could never understand, would never envision our world as it is now. The listeners in the first century could not understand, anymore than Thomas Jefferson would understand, why we lit up the White House with the Sodomite colors. The Sodomites are in charge. The majority of the populace have voted their intentions to the composite beast and put the Sodomites in charge, and the transvestites in our high school washrooms. The composite beast has risen from the sea of many nations, and peoples, and tongues.

So to (Let The Reader Understand) what this important specification is, there needs to be about three big issues to be understood first. I can only get you started.

And since it is He who gives the wisdom to the wise, and He who reveals the deep and the hidden things, it would be futile for me to think I might posses the skill sets to assist anyone to wrest the meaning of the AofD out of the Holy Script.

And I probably wouldn't even be typing right now if it wasn't so cold, damp and windy outside right now. Plus there's no space to explain Luke 21 and the Olivet Discourse here in a thousand words or less. Seems quicker just to say Jesus is coming soon, maybe sooner than most think.

But for those who had the patience to read this far, here's a big hint what it is.

“So when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), then

"Let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let the one who is on the housetop not go down to take what is in his house, and let the one who is in the field not turn back to take his cloak.

Zero in on the colored text. Luke pulls that similar Script, similar instructions, out of what most people think is the Olivet, and places it in Chapter 17 after a mention of the "days of Lot".

Luke 17:

"Likewise, just as it was in the days of Lot—they were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building, but on the day when Lot went out from Sodom, fire and sulfur rained from heaven and destroyed them all—so will it be on the day when the Son of Man is revealed.

"On that day, let the one who is on the housetop, with his goods in the house, not come down to take them away, and likewise let the one who is in the field not turn back.

This is further reinforced by a mention of Lot's wife:

"Remember Lot’s wife. Whoever seeks to preserve his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will keep it.

See it?

They are giving us a hint.

Mathew puts the highlighted Script AFTER the mention of the Abomination.

Luke puts those similar instructions AFTER the mention of the "days of Lot".

The Abomination = the Days of Lot.

"And thou shalt not lie with a man as with a woman,
for it is an abomination.

The trick to understand this is that Luke 21 is not the Olivet. Luke 21 was the morning and the day OF the Olivet, INSIDE the temple. Luke 21 is about: "But before all this". Luke 21 was in the women's court, where the treasury was. It was a public place. There were people, disciples, old widows. In the morning, every morning, the people would come to see Him in the temple, but at night He would lodge on the mount called Olivet.

The Olivet, Mathew 24 and Mark 13, was the evening of Luke 21, Jesus was leaving the temple and walking away after a long full day teaching in the temple. 20 minutes down the temple mount, across the Kidron Valley, and up to the mount called Olivet. A Sabbath Day's journey. There were no people come to see Him, no poor widows putting money in the treasury. The disciples were going to sleep after a long day in the temple. Just four disciples came to Him privately.

"As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter, James, John and Andrew asked him privately,“Tell us, when will these things happen?

And every night He would lodge on the mount called Olivet.

While I have the net warmed up, I'll throw in one more glimpse of the empirical.

Thanks for the response Dave, we disagree

Daniel's abomination and desolations are clearly named in Daniel 9:27, and the future human man (The Antichrist) will be present in earth to the very second coming and (End)

Thanks for the response Dave, we disagree

And you're welcome, and thank you for your response as well.

And I knew that, that we disagree.

Daniel's abomination and desolations are clearly named in Daniel 9:27,

I know that. It uses the same words, but the timing is off. Daniel 9, and 11:31, was the destruction of Jerusalem. Daniel 11 doesn't reach our time until verse 36, verse 31 is still the DofJ. 9:27 is mostly talking about the DofJ. It's just that when the one who maketh desolate is mentioned, (Satan), it skips forward in time for the purpose of letting us know not to worry about it. Even until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who makes desolate. That's the beast, (the one from the bottomless pit), cast into the lake of fire. He will get what's coming to him,

"Yet he will come to his end, and no one will help him.

The KJV dosn't make this one very clear. It reads: "Is poured out on the desolate.

It should read poured out on the desolator.

Or:

Until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.”

New International Version
until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.”

New Living Translation
until the fate decreed for this defiler is finally poured out on him.”

English Standard Version
until the decreed end is poured out on the desolator.”

Berean Study Bible
until the decreed destruction is poured out upon him.”

NASB 1995
until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who makes desolate.”

NASB 1977
until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who makes desolate.”

Amplified Bible
until the complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who causes the horror.”

Christian Standard Bible
until the decreed destruction is poured out on the desolator.”

There's two desolations. In the first century Jerusalem was desolated, at the consummation, the whole world is desolated.

and the future human man (The Antichrist)

Who was that desolator? Titus? No. He was only the glove that Satan put his hand into. One of the people of the prince who is to come.

I say he was here since resurrection Sunday, that's when he got kicked out of heaven.

That's why Jesus wouldn't let Mary touch Him yet.

Because Jesus was talking about the end of the world in the Olivet, and not about the DofJ like in Luke 21, (But before all this), He had to be talking about the Daniel 12 version of the Abomination. Which is a sign and an answer to the original question:

“How long shall it be till the end of these wonders?”

We have the answer that it would be for a time, times, and half a time, but then we are offered up two more prophetic time periods which should add clarity or completion to the original time period, the 1290, and the 1335 days. Because the subject is how long shall it be till the end, the end of these wonders, would not it be fair to assume the 1290 and 1335 have part in this answer?

"And from the time that the regular burnt offering is taken away and the abomination that makes desolate is set up, there shall be 1,290 days.

I would suspect that the KJV does a better job on this one, than the ESV that I posted.

"And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

I read that the word "sacrifice" was inserted by the KJV translators. But that the Abomination is on the same day as the daily is taken away.

So it might look something like this:

DS/AofD<-----1290----->EofW

Or this:

DS/AofD<---1290---><-----1335----->EofW

Because the earthly temples were a copy and shadow, Moses was told to be careful to make the earthly temple an exact copy of the one he was shown on the mountain, if there was a "daily" in the Old Time Jewish temple, the heavenly temple must have it's original example.

Something like the casting down of the censer in heaven's temple in Revelation 8.

"Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all God’s people, on the golden altar in front of the throne. The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of God’s people, went up before God from the angel’s hand. Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it on the earth; and there came peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake.

The taking away of the "daily" that we are talking about here can't be an animal sacrifice in either of the Temples, here's why. Remember that Daniel called it the "daily" or the "continual". This service was performed evenings and mornings, twice a day and every day at the alter of incense. The alter of incense was used for corporate atonement (Leviticus 4), or the for sins of the whole camp. Unlike the alter of burnt offerings which was used for individual atonement. Right now it's likely graduated to the sins of the whole world, especially when it's performed at the place of His sanctuary. Notice also that the censer is used at the alter of incense and it is this component that is "cast down" in Revelation 8 that precedes the Trumpets. Casting down the censer makes me think of throwing in the towel. Or like how Moses threw the two tablets of stone at the children of Israel with the sound of righteous indignation. No more censer, no more "daily" service.

"He even exalted himself as high as the Prince of the host; and by him the daily sacrifices were taken away, and the place of His sanctuary was cast down.

Exodus 30:

"You shall make an altar to burn incense on; you shall make it of acacia wood. A cubit shall be its length and a cubit its width-- it shall be square-- and two cubits shall be its height.

"Aaron shall burn on it sweet incense every morning; when he tends the lamps, he shall burn incense on it. And when Aaron lights the lamps at twilight, he shall burn incense on it, a perpetual incense before the LORD throughout your generations.

"Aaron shall burn on it sweet incense every morning; when he tends the lamps, he shall burn incense on it. And when Aaron lights the lamps at twilight, he shall burn incense on it, a perpetual incense before the LORD throughout your generations. You shall not offer strange incense on it, or a burnt offering, or a grain offering; nor shall you pour a drink offering on it.

No the Preterist 70AD fulfillment in "Titus" doesn't represent the figure in Daniel 9:27 as you claim, as this figure is future, and will be present on this earth to see the "Consummation" of all things (The End)

Dave you reject the word "Consummation" before your eyes, why?
