Dante Alighieri terrified Europe in the mid ages with his Inferno book dooming most of humanity into a terrible life followed by and eternal hell.

For all the negativity he did say something positive that has stuck with me... "If a man follow his star he shall not fail of a glorious heaven." - Dante Alighieri

To follow a good way creates great destiny!

Insightful, eternal destiny..

The metaphor frames human life as a voyage where the "star" acts as a navigational guide for the soul. By interpreting the "star" as a specific astrological sign or a personal vocation, Dante suggests that integrity and purpose lead to a "glorious haven," contrasting this divine guidance with the "sour crab-apples" of a corrupt society that seeks to hinder good deeds and a glorious future.
