Abraham was 100 years old when Isaac was born (Gen 21:5). Isaac was a young man When God asked Abraham to sacrifice Isaac.

Genesis 22:

7 Then Isaac said to his father Abraham, “My father!”
“Here I am, my son,” he replied.
“The fire and the wood are here,” said Isaac, “but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?”
Isaac was thinking about the next step.

8 Abraham answered, “God Himself will provide the lamb for the burnt offering, my son.” And the two walked on together.
Isaac trusted his father.

9 When they arrived at the place God had designated, Abraham built the altar there and arranged the wood. He bound his son Isaac and placed him on the altar, atop the wood.
The young Isaac could have overpowered his old father, but he didn't.

10 Then Abraham reached out his hand and took the knife to slaughter his son.
Did Isaac struggle?

I don't think so. Isaac was a type of Christ. Like Jesus, Isaac submitted to his father's will on the sacrificial altar.

Isaiah 53:

7b Like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he opened not his mouth.
