Just a few questions before I go to bed. One,.. did Jesus ever get worried? Two, did He ever get scared? Did He ever have nightmares? Finally, did He ever get sick? I know that He was human as well as God but some things I'm just not sure about especially the third one since He had a body like the rest of us and He could die obviously since He did for us,.. but since was also God could He still experience sickness?

We are not told about any physical sickness we are told about the anguish/torment he went through in the garden.

Whether intelligent anticipation of known pain equals fear ? He knew what he was going to suffer and didn't want to go through it.

I was going to mention this Windmill,
I often wonder if Jesus "fear" or anguish had more to do with being separated from The Father for a time rather that the physical but, that is just a guess.

I highly doubt Jesus EVER worried about anything as, His faith was fully in The Father. Not to mention how many times He told us NOT to worry or fret about ANYTHING :)

As far as Him being sick, again His faith and wisdom kept Him well as well as probably eating healthy? Nightmares?? Hmm, dunno.

I believe, that at one point, He suffered everything that we do, yet was without sin.
Terrible, when you think about it.
Best thing that ever happened to us!

Hebrews 5 Tells us that He was faced with everything we do, and can sympathize with us.
The bible does not tell us if he got sick, but He was quite distressed in the garden when His time came

Hebrews 5:15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.

He was fully human, he knew hunger, tiredness etc so it is reasonable to think he also knew what pain was and that he knew just how much pain he was going to experience.
Yes he also was anticipating the separation from his Father as well as the degradation of bearing All our sin.

I think his anguish covered all this.

In a word NO. Scripture says that he was tempted in all points as we are, but it does not say he succumbed to the temptation. I am going to express an opinion here which I rarely do and say that to understand what man goes through he had to experience illness and pain but was not susceptible to it.

He carried our pain. He must've felt it. He bore our sicknesses, if He felt them, He must've been ill.
He didn't just pay for our sin, I believe He became sin.
I am still so selfish. :(

He didn't sin.
He became sin, right down to His atomic substructure.
100 percent.
He actually died.
Why should God die?
For us.

What does temptation have to do with it though? I didn't even mention that part. :/
