Eph 5:2
2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
KJV
The sacrifice was an offering and sacrifice to the Father so that we could be reunited to God's Spirit and hopefully salvaged from the destruction we were headed for.
Did you know that God sends evil spirits to torment men?
Judg 9:23
23 Then God sent an evil spirit between Abimelech and the men of Shechem; and the men of Shechem dealt treacherously with Abimelech:
KJV
1 Sam 16:14-15
14 But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him.
15 And Saul's servants said unto him, Behold now, an evil spirit from God troubleth thee.
KJV
Did you know that the Spirit of God is the one who led Jesus into the desert to be tempted by the devil?
Matt 4:1
4:1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
KJV
Did you know that God is good and evil and once they ate from the tree of good and evil then is when they became like god?
But the tree of life or the Word of God makes us in the attributes(image) of God to keep us in perfect peace, health and protection.
Gen 3:5
5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

Did you know that Paul had the authority in Jesus' name to bring Satan to burn away some of the unsightly flesh from a sinner in the Church so that his soul may be spared in the day of the Lord Jesus?
1 Cor 5:4-5
4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
KJV
The church for the most part has been coddled to much and many are still very much led by their flesh man. We have been led to believe that we can continue to sin with no consequences, but this is not true. You may have forgiveness of the sin, but you will suffer the loss due to consequences of our actions. God never changes and His commandments are to be obeyed. We have two commandments which if done correctly cover all 10 in the original Stone. The law in itself changes no one.. but the Spirit is able to help us overcome to be found worthy.
Rom 13:8-10
8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
KJV
The Lord Jesus Christ is the Love of God for He is God's Word that we must abide in and the Word in us to be saved.
