Did you know that neither a "rainbow" nor a "moonbow" are actually "bows?" They are full circles of refracted light, (like the halo ring we see around street lights and automobile headlights), the lower portion of which is simply below the horizon, and we cannot see it from our location. Flying high enough, people in airplanes often see this full circle, which is then called a "pilot's rainbow."

Well is God said " He set His bow in the cloud" for Noah...He obviously only needs a half of one.
And I can't think of anything that I have done or seen that is special.
I have been in the cockpit of a 747 plane. But I am sure others have.
I have flown three time in a tiny 4 seater plane...which I found terrifying. I talked like a crazy person all the time...because our friend who was flying us from south Alberta to northern BC, kept falling asleep.
That was the first time I experienced "someone turning green with fear or sickness" ...my 18 year old daughter's face was a beautiful shade of green.

I was reading about the pilot's bow which is full circle. That would be so awesome to see.

Never heard of a moonbow but I've seen many snowbows living in the N.E. :)
