not to mention they had ropes across the beams by which men would help pull it up as it slid into the hole .
You ever seen them metal loops that looked circluar . while it was down on the ground
they slid rope through it and as men lifted others helped pull it by them ropes .
Which once they let go of both the ends in their hands they could just pull it on right through .
OH they sure had means to get the job done . Some people think people in those days

yes , from the research i have done the romans could get creative on how they attach someone . it was all about torture. discovered the crossbar up near the top was done to prolong the suffering ,even to make it last for days . not the case for Jesus and the other two that men .they had to be dead and buried before sun down

And i can assure us all JESUS didnt have his back ripped wide open , so bad in fact he could have died
from the wounds alone . And then go to the cross and suffer
so that men could invent another rainbow and kiss korans and do great evil , IN HIS NAME EVEN .
He came to set us free FROM sin
NOT TO DENY the need to BELIEVE ON HIM by producing a sin embracing unbelief interfaith lie
People are using the NAME of CHRIST , but not to preach the dire need to BELIEVE ON HIM

i have come to understand that jesus did not die on a cross . it was nothing more than a pole .
which makes sense when ya realize how quickly the three men died. when hung on a cross it can take days to die .but mere hours when on a pole. even less when the legs are broken .
thing is the story about the cross being used was supported by the 3ed century church as fact

i do have a problem with the thought that every christion go's off to heaven at death . because of matthew 5:5 and Isaiah 11

Being a Christian is not stating that one is a Christian, but as you rightly say means repenting of si s and accepting Jesus as ones Saviour.

I would say that when God allowed Satan to have Jesus, who was without sin, killed, Satan lost his credibility to torment us for our sins. In this way, Jesus died for our sins.

Where is it written anywhere that satan torments us FOR OUR SIN .
Me thinks folks forget , Satan will not be tormenting the unbelievers in the lake of fire
HE WILL BE TORMENTED along with them . Just saying .

I'm trying to point out that things aren't always as simple as we make them out to be. Jesus died on the cross to save us from our sins. Wonderful. But how did dying on the cross save us from our sins?

Someone might answer, "Because God demanded a sacrifice." Okay, then why did a sacrifice satisfy God?

My birthday is Monday. I'd be more likely to have a burger and fries, except I'm struggling to keep my weight down.
