@Mantis I do love the fact that God speaks to us through His Word; this is why daily prayerful Bible reading is so important......

The Word of God we preach is found in our hearts and mouth. Have we not read this????

Rom 10:8 But what does it say? “THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching,

So the Bible is not the Word of God we preach - He is!!

Rev 19:13 He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.

We need to listen to Him, or have we not read that they will all be taught of God?

His sheep hear His voice, and it is that small still voice of His. It's not that He can't come across loud, even like thunder, but rather God is spirit and speaks to us via His Holy Spirit to our spirit!

The Holy spirit once told me: "We don't use the Lord to preach the Scriptures, we use the Scriptures to preach the Lord."

Jesus Christ is the Lord!! That is what the Holy Spirit tells you!! So, who tells us the Bible is the Lord. Jesus Christ is not something written, He is the One whose name is called the Word of God because we can hear from Him through His Holy Spirit!!

Still, Jesus had to tell the Jews - Jn 5:39 "You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me; and you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life.

That serves as a warning to us that we are not searching the Scriptures for eternal life but actually going to Him. Now don't worry about not reading and studying the Bible if you know Him. The first words I heard from Him were, "Read Your Bible!" Still, reading is not hearing!!! And there is sooo much more to your life than just the Bible. He will cover the Bible with you, but will also help you choose what to get at the grocery store.

So do you know Him as the Word of God - or is the line upon line of text the word of God to you? That could be a problem!!

Is 28: 12-13” but they would not listen. So the word of the LORD to them will be, “Order on order, order on order, Line on line, line on line,
A little here, a little there,” That they may go and stumble backward, be broken, snared and taken captive.

If we don't listen to the Lord then the word of the Lord to us will be the line upon line of text in the Bible - yet that is so we go stumbling backwards and are broken and taken captive!! We need to seek Jesus Christ, and listen to Him as the Word of God, just like is written in your Bible!!!

Psalm 119:105; John 17:17; 2 Timothy 3:15.

You have badly misinterpreted both the verses - and that because you think the Bible is the word of God instead of Jesus Christ - and the ironic thing is that both the places in the Bible point to Jesus Christ!!

Have you not read where Jesus said He was the Truth???

So if you read that the Word of God is the "truth" it is explaining the Jesus Christ is the Word of God!! That is the truth, but that is not what you think. Knowing the Jesus Christ is the truth is a way to help you discern what spirit you are listening to. A spirit that tells you the Bible is the Word of God is not telling you that Jesus Christ is the Word of God, and that is not the truth. It is not even what the Bible explains to you!!

And as for the other verse 2 Timothy 3.:15 - it does not read "Word of God" it read "Scriptures" The Greek word Scriptures come from is "Graphe" and Graphe is not translated as "Word" in your Bible!!

So the Scripture (your Bible) is "inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for [fn]training in righteousness;" but it is not called the Word of God (Logos or Rhema), but rather the Scripture (your Bible). In the very next chapter it is written to preach the Word (Logos) which is not the same as saying preach the (Graphe) like you are doing!

At the beginning of John we read : Jn In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God.

The Greek word for "Word" use by John is Logos, not Graphe. So we preach Jesus Christ and not the Bible. If you are talking to the Lord like you should He could have pointed that out to you, because He is the Truth!
