If we claim to be a disciple of Christ then is this not to obey the Word? Being disciplined in our bodies to bring into submission to Christ the living Word of God as the Spirit of God leds us?
When you hear the devil whisper in your ear.. tell a lie and get your desire... what is the first thing you must do as a soldier of Christ to fight that good fight of faith and get the Victory?
It is to........WHIP OUT THAT sWORD of the Spirit which is THE WORD OF GOD just as Jesus did in his tempting of the devil and you SAY IT IS WRITTEN:
Rom 13:8-10
8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

The LOVE of God is His Truth and His Truth is His Word and His Word is CHRIST! Be an overcomer and whip out that sWord of the Spirit to fight that battle that is in your mind that keeps you bondage to the captivity of sin.. so that you can live in liberty IN CHRIST by obeying and knowing the Word personally so that you won't be deceived. Blessings flow when you walk in line with the Word and not contrary to it.
And you will notice where all those who are still slave to their fleshly works go:
Rev 21:8
8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Come out of the fire by letting that flesh man melt away according to the Word of Truth, Way and Life so that you can enter into the PEACE/REST of God.... Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem to come into your life.
